Roland Aerophone Digital Wind Instrument Stores

I bought this for my Roland r-07 fits excellent. Reduces wind noise very well. I live in Florida and I tested this out in local parks, at the beach, and at home to see how much is muffles the overall sound of the recorder. At local parks it works very well under moderate wind. Out on the beach, near the shore and on the jetty’s, it really tamed those strong sea breezes(I went out during the tailed of a storm). Overall great wind reduction and no major degradation of sound.

I use this lab with a Roland R-05 and rycote wind screens during interview taping or weddings on the officiant and groom. The quality of the audio is phenomenal and its small size makes it inconspicuous.

I must admit, the first time I unboxed the instrument, I was amazed at the build quality. It has some heft, the keys are properly and ergonomically placed and you know Akai really took their time to perfect this wind controller. But as a long time saxophone player, the first time I actually played some scales, I was quite disappointed - it didn't feel like a saxophone. I was beginning to regret my purchase and thought about exchanging it for the WX5. So I gave it a few more days. Days turned to weeks, and I am beginning to appreciate this instrument. Keep practicing those scales, breathing with the mouthpiece and you realize how this is such an amazing wind controller. I made a mistake thinking that this is a replacement for a saxophone in an apartment situation. In reality, you should think about how this instrument can be an extension to your musical endeavors. The possibilities you can do with the sounds and playability are endless. There are a few usable synths prebuilt, but I suggest using the Akai EWI 5000 Editor to really play and edit your sounds then save it to the user bank. Also there are synths out there that can be used if you plug the EWI as just a midi wind controller; unfortunately you can't upload other synth sounds into the controller. Definitely give it some time to get used to the instrument especially moving from one octave to another. Keep practicing and you'll appreciate that there's hardly any moving parts here. I was opposed at it first since horns have that tactile and key feedback. But with the touch sensitivity, it really felt I was playing an instrument from the future. Again, you just have to get used to it - think about when mobile phones shift from physical keyboards to the modern phones we have today. And here I am today still keeping my purchase and writing a review. I thank Akai for making a top-notch wind controller and continuing the support for the modern electronic wind musician.

I use this on a Roland and Yamaha digital keyboard. It really smooths out the response of the keyboard and helps tame the harshness.

This works perfectly. I use it to power my Roland R-05 digital recorder. I had a USB AC charger hanging around (the kind you can plug a USB cable into, like most phone chargers) and I use the cable with this. It works fine from my computer as well. This is a perfect solution at a bargain price.

I use the Apex AX-48 keyboard stand for a heavier digital piano, on the bottom and a Roland Juno Di on top. Each keyboard is easily accessible and adjustable keyboard heights make playing very comfortable. This stand is very sturdy.

I use this with a Roland M200i digital mixer to provide an audio feed to a livestream PC. Using the LAN saves adding an analog adapter to that PC.

This Roland digital piano sounds amazing. I love it. The action and feel of the keys is nice too. Highly recommend.

We have a Roland digital piano that is about 15 years old. Our cats chewed through the original cable a couple of months ago and we could not use our piano. We tried to repair the old one, but for some reason, it is just not possible to splice this kind of cable. So we found a compatible replacement cable at B&H, which was a better deal than other places due to the free shipping. It arrived last week and works like a charm! Not only that, but the new cable is of a different shape from the old one - one that cats don't like to chew on. It's thicker and harder. This power adapter is highly recommended, especially if you have cats!

I use 2 of these connecting my Roland FP30X digital piano to two Roland KC200 Amps. Heavy duty! Best in the business! Highly Recommend!
