I have 4 of these. They took the place of random storage in plastic bags and the bottom of drawers. I like them because they are waterproof and secure, yet easy to open without breaking a fingernail, unlike some other competitors. Not expensive and highly recommended.

These are just perfect for me for moving slides from trays to a much more compact yet searchable storage that can go in either file drawers or binders.

I use this case primarily for regular storage. I'm a photojournalist and my cameras must live in my car for the most part. I bought this to have a safe place for them to ride and be locked up by cable and lock. Foam is very easy to cut and I currently have it set up to hold a 6d with 16-35mm f/2.8 attached, 1DXmkii with 70-200 f/2.8 attached and four prime lenses, 24, 40, 50 and 85. Also space for a memory card holder spare batteries and a few other things. Excellent build quality, seals nicely. It isn't ideal for a regular roller, the wheels aren't great on a poorly maintained street or driveway like my ThinkTank roller is and the handle requires two hands to put back down, but it'd get you around and airport or similar situation just fine. No complaints for my use, and I'd certainly trust it to fly with. I can't say I've tested weather proofing at all, though.
