First thing I noticed is the weight. Its heavy and now I have no fear that it will ever fall over. And even if I do fear it will I can hang my gear bag on the boom arm. I've put a Mola Demi Beauty dish on the boom arm and even hanging with the boom arm full length it still is stable. The legs would be nice if they came as a foldable 4 leg option or even a foldable rocky mountain leg. Overall very happy, rather have silver then black though. my bad...

C stand isn't as heavy as I thought (a good thing) It is very sturdy. With a 36 foldable octa with AB light extended with the gobo arm all the way out and at full stand extension, it does bend slightly along the whole height. I wouldn't advise this for use, but you really shouldn't do that anyway. Also the plug in the gobo arm had to be removed for me to fasten my lights on it. Not a big deal since the inside of the tube is coated so I am not concerned with rust or debris. All knobs and connections are industrial and sturdy. The grips work amazingly even holding tight the wrong way. If you are looking for a first Cstand buy this one like me you wont be disappointed.

I use this as a rolling base to my tethering table. It's [relatively] compact for travel and extremely sturdy when in use. It's a bit heavier in weight than anticipated but I have no concerns of the risers slipping during use. Love it!

I use this for my TVPC and keep it on the coffee table. It has good range (which my previous trackball didn't have) and smooth rolling action. Clicks also have a good feel.
