Roof Air Conditioners For Campers

I often record in my apartment or at the studio where I work - there is a ton of background noise like traffic, air conditioners, and creaky floors. The high pass filter for perfect for filtering those consistent background hums. Of course, a little fancy editing too. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a lifesaver especially during the summer when everyone is blasting their fans and air conditioners and risking outages. I’ve had my power go out multiple times in a span of a week and I had enough time to save everything I needed to. The size also helps as my small apartment is already pretty cramped.

I bought this case for the 13 Macbook Air for an upcoming trip that required some extra protection (rain and bumps/bruises). The laptop liner is great and fits the air almost perfectly (there is around 1/2 an inch on either side of the laptop). But what about the fact that the air isn't a constant thickness, doesn't it move around a lot? Pelican have thought of this and included some foam pads which you stick to the roof of the case, which stops all movement of the laptop. There's even room for me to velcro a portable SSD and card reader to the same roof of the case (in between the pads), saving me room in my camera bag! Throw in the durable strap (I didn't expect to use this, but it's really sturdy with a rubber shoulder piece), and it's a super portable way to take your laptop to inhospitable environments. It definitely adds some bulk (which may negate buying a macbook air), and now it may not fit in some 15 laptop bags/camera bags...but to me it's worth it if you want some protection (or if you're just clumsy...).

I gifted these to my fellow campers... the lights are about 1.5 inches long and the diameter of a pen. Nice bright light that can be hung on a zipper pull, lanyard or keychain. Just enough to see the path before you without blinding your friends. Perfection.

We bought our Delta Pros (2) during the Kick Starter Promotion. We initially purchased them to provide off grid power for our campers when we finally purchase some property to build a Tiny House on. While we haven't actually used them for that purpose, we are usually busy with some remodeling project for one of our campers. The Delta Pro worked great when we decided to run some power tools inside our house. We usually work out in the barn that actually has a more reliable power supply than our old Victorian house. So instead of tripping breakers inside the house we plugged into the Delta Pro and had zero issues. Really looking forward to some off grid camping and eventually setting up our Tiny House and "guest campers" on our own property.

The microphone has better quality sound than our local bar's mic. We have used this camping and alot of other campers joined in. We are avid campers and were excited to try these out primarily with our kids while the explore the campgrounds. These came nicely packaged, are a perfect size, and we were very anxious to test out the range. Our kids were super excited and loved using them. The range was very ample for us and our usage. The kids were able to traverse the whole campground and we were able to hear them loud and clear. They also told me the accidentally “dropped” them a few times and they kept working just fine. The only downside to these is there is no battery display to see what the level is. It only tells you when it is low. I’d love to have had that as an added feature. Totally pleased with these little radios and so glad to have them while we are camping! It’s a purchase you won’t regret!

I have had a number of Furman power conditioners in the past 30 years. The pl has always been my favorite. I have had some cheaper power conditioners also and they are not conditioners whatsoever. All they are.. are exaggerated power strips.. and when you pick them up you will see the weigh less than a pound.. because most of the electronics are missing in the chassis. Not so with the Furman units. Furman units are very heavy because they have actual electronics in them like filters and other things that are going to be making sure the power is conditioned correctly. They shut down upon overload and the filter make sure there is no buzz or hum in the line. You cannot go wrong with a PL plus and B&H has the lowest price in the country!!
