Rooftop Projector Screen

We use this projector screen in our church activities.

I installed them next to my projector screen and they sound great.

Anyone looking to extend there monitor onto a TV screen or projector this is the way to go.

Using this to decode an NDI source to a projector in Church services with live stream. We previously were sending the Presentation Laptops screen to the OBS computer via NDI, and used a separate proprietary wireless video feed to the main projector. Got this so we can use the same NDI source for both and eliminate the wireless projector feed. It is working well. One thing to be aware of: the projector will display will go blank in a couple of seconds if there is no video and audio activity when using NDI Screen Capture as the source. This can be an issue during power points with static screens. You can set the decoder to keep the last thing displayed on the screen or allow it to go blank. I prefer it to go blank so I know something is wrong right away. You can also resolve by making sure the NDI Screen Capture is using an active audio source (like the microphone). This decoder has been reliable and is reasonably priced. Perhaps other decoders won't have the inactivity issue but they are also more expensive. This has not been a show stopper for us.

This thing worked great. This is just what I needed to get my screen up and another screen to my projector up at the same time in my sanctuary. This was great.

B&H came through big time with these speakers. They're installed on a rooftop bar. They cover the open space with full range sound. Compliments from the owner and managers of the bar. I would recommend these speakers anytime. I am using them as 70v and have 8 speakers covering the space.

I did one test so far but under very challenging circumstances. I went to a windy rooftop of an apartment building which also has a large exhaust machine for the hallway air circulation and is quite noisy. I shot the same subject at the same distance, about 8 feet, with the Saramonic 900 B2 and then another clip with the RODE VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog/USB Microphone. Both clip where then put on DaVinci Studio with the audio, voice Isolation switch on full. Both were extremely good and so close that the shotgun mic wins in the sense of doing run and gun stuff on the street, it wouldn't be worth the extra effort of clipping the Blink on the subject. You get a quality audio with the RODE and it cancels side and rear noise so well, that when you add the audio isolate its amazing even under the trying circumstances of the rooftop I used. The Blink 900 seemed not to have quite as much bass in the voice as the Rode but was obviously much dryer than the Rode since the mic was close to the subject. In fact I used the Lav on the subject and just used the cube on myself without bothering with the lav for me. Both sounded about the same, which is great. But it did seem like the Blink has a low end cut, or it could be the mics. My question to BH would be, if I bought much better Lav mics, would the Tx Rx manage the better sound to the camera? In any case, this is a fantastic piece of kit and if you have this and the Rode you should be equipped for any circumstance you may need.

This screen assembles easily and can be done by one person. A great pairing with the Aaxa P6X projector.

With COVID, I set up a socially-distanced movie night opportunity for family and friends with a projector and movie screen. We needed big sound for big fun and these speakers delivered. I purchased a separate very long 3.5 mm audio cable between the projector and speakers and also purchased a longer speaker cable to run between the speakers so they could sit on either side of the screen. The sound from these speakers is fabulous and movie night is a big hit for our family and friends. Thank you!
