Room Air Conditioner Mold Smell

RTFM folks. Understand what this is, and how it works (very simple): it is NOT a FILTER, it is a ZAPPER. There is no filter element, only an electric element that zaps and kills the following: mold bacteria, virii (aka viruses) dust mites and their poop (aka what we're allergic to when we sneeze) These are semi passive, and as far as I can tell don't really have a fan to speak that makes noise therefore they are NOISELESS!, they draw cool are in the bottom and spit out hot air up top along with the dead carcasses of the above that aren't burnt to a crisp or burnt onto the element. I know some people complain of smell, I wonder if those are rooms that don't have any sort of filters and are especially full of particulates. It would make sense. I haven't experienced a smell (other than the break-in of the plastic getting warm). I do also vacuum and have multiple air filters in the house. I think of these as complimentary to air filters, but more specifically for people are afraid of contracting illnesses. Go to the site, tons of research with links to the articles. This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

As always B&H was very quick to send the package out and it was what we ordered no problem. Our only problem is that the air conditioner is apparently too loud for even this windscreen to totally block the noise. It does a much better job but the mic is apparently extremely sensitive to all sound.

I got this because during the hot months I can't run my air conditioner and computer at the same time due to neighborhood brownouts. If I turn the air conditioner off the computer overheats. This covers the outtages so I can work in comfort without unexpectedly rebooting every few minutes. Thanks!

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. I ordered my DELTA Max as part of a bundle with the Wave air conditioner. I also purchased a 160 watt solar panel. I live in the south and am planning to use the Wave while camping to cool my tent in the evening. The solar panel will help recharge the Max during the day. I have not yet received the Wave, but I did get the Max and solar panel. I tested the solar panel and Max out today and everything worked as expected. So far, I am very pleased.

I recently purchased a new NEST thermostat to replace a thermostat custom for my furnace & air conditioner. The wiring was odd and so I called in a Reliance installer, who inspected, then easily installed the NEST. This unit functions flawlessly and it was a conch connecting it to my home wifi and adding it to my NEST account online. The product is unobtrusive and fits beautifully with our decor.

This stuff worked great, and doesn't smell the room up. Great for making prints in a home darkroom.
