Roots Camera Backpack Review
Robert | 2024-07-19 06:37:52 |
My roots in photography go back to 35mm B&W Tri X. I am very happy to find Kodak and B&H still supply this great film. I use this in my dad's 1962 Kodak Duaflex IV camera and am thrilled to see the wonderful results. The film has great exposure latitude to make up for the age of the camera and the grain - love grain in my B&W film. Helps to give that classic film look. Great for art photography. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as my other camera backpack got stolen on a trip to SFO. Backpack quality is fantastic, camera section has good cushioning than my previous camera backpack and enough space to store a laptop. tablet etc, in the clamshell opening and some cloths in the expandable roll top. Backpack is certainly bigger than my previous one. Color is little off from the pictures show (bought Dallol Yellow, darker than the images shown). Hadn't got a chance to take it in rain so can't comment on that yet.So far i have been enjoying this backpack and will certainly recommend to others. 5 |

Love this lens with my Zf, slows me down to get back to photography roots. Character is fantastic, vignetting is much at wide open, but at f/2 mostly gone and can be removed in post. I tried the 50 APO and was about half the price, but his 50 f/1 is just magical. 5 |

I use the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap with a Lowepro ProTactic Backpack. One side of the strap connects perfectly to the rings located on the front of the backpack's shoulder straps and the other side connects onto a loop on the bottom of the pack on the other side. The BlackRapid backpack strap allows me to have quick access to my camera. With the camera on the BlackRapid strap, I no longer need to bring my backpack to my side to remove and use my camera. I now use my backpack only to store and change lenses. My camera can now remain outside my backpack, located conveniently to my side at hip level. When I want to shoot, the camera slides smoothly up the camera strap to eye level. I like that the camera hangs upside-down when resting on the strap. It makes for an easy get to position when my camera is resting at my side. This strap is amazingly slick and fun to use. I have to admit that I find myself playing around with it, like I'm some sort of gunslinger, showing off how quick I can be on the draw. I appreciate the movable clips provided on the BlackRapid camera strap. The two clips are easily adjusted, allowing me to restrict the movement of the camera to stay in one place on the strap when I am planning not to shoot. All of the attachment parts seem well made and designed. I keep the bottom strap strapped to the bottom of my backpack and store the rest of the strap in a small pocket on my backpack when I am not using the strap. Then, all I have to do is remove the strap from the small backpack pocket and connect the free end to the opposite shoulder strap . . . and I'm ready to go! I wish the piece that that screws into the camera (Camera Socket Attachment) was designed so that the camera could sit flat when attached, and if the design of the socket attachment would permit a tripod or mono-pod to be screwed into it without having to unscrew it from the camera. I absolutely love the BlackRapid Backpack Breathe Camera Strap! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a durable backpack that's padded but also somewhat compact for when I'm traveling and shooting at locations that require walking or hiking a distance. This backpack fit both of my camera bodies, the three lenses that I always keep on me and my flash. (Nikon z8, D850, 35mm, 24-120mm, 40mm and 2 Godox V860II flash) The only thing I didn't love at first was the stiff zippers but they just took some getting used to and they're great. No worries about someone trying to get into the bag while traveling and me not noticing as they do take a second to unzip. If you're looking for the perfect camera backpack I highly recommend this one. I've gone through quite a few camera bags/cases and think this may be the best camera bag I've ever bought. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this backpack after watching a bunch of different reviews and found this to fit my needs as a travel backpack. Good size for my 14" laptop and my compact digital/film camera gear. I had to use my own camera cube divider from a different bag but it still works out perfectly! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iʻd been looking for a camera cube that could fit the essentials in my backpack and this was perfect. All the other camera cubes were too big and bulky and this was perfect for what I needed. Fits like a glove! 5 |

I pack my lens in this and for travel place it in my camera backpack for travel. Then if I am walking or don't need most of my gear I carry it by itself and leave the bulk of my gear at my hotel. This request for review came a bit soon for a complete review but it seems to work well so far. 5 |
