Rotary Watch Battery Replacement Cost

There was a time when rotary controllers like this cost many hundreds of dollars and were only found in the best sorts of broadcast equipment. The look, the feel, and the function of this unit are great. It is so small and compact that it is essentially portable. This is one of the better buys I've made.

I was very pleasantly surprised that my replacement battery was delivered to my door by courrier within 48 hr of my on-line order, which was placed on a weekend. This was the first time that I had ever tried replacing a battery instead to just buying a new UPS unit. None of the retailers selling APC products carry replacement batteries, and since I live in Canada, I expected that the cost of bringing in a replacement battery would exceed the cost of a new unit.. and be bogged down with customs duties.. etc. Battery was actually shipped from a nearby Canadian distributor. It is certainly more environmentally-friendly to replace a battery rather that throwing out a perfectly good UPS system. APC should do more to inform Canadian customers how easy it is (& cost -effective) to replace batteries. Perhaps include battery replacement information in packaging for new units.

This is a replacement for a Nikon battery for a Coolpix s 32 lost by the repair shop. It came charged. It cost a fraction of the Nikon battery. Seems to work just fine

This battery was a replacement for a Kodak battery of about 2-3 the cost and is working great. So glad I found it on my fixed budget.

The battery replacement for our rack mount UPS was easy and straightforward. The extra cost to purchase the batteries ready to install (instead of requiring removing the connections/cables from the old batteries and installing them on the new batteries) was very worthwhile. The ability to recycle the batteries at a nearby Staples store was an added bonus.

At one-third of the cost of a replacement UPS unit, simply replacing the battery is a consumer-smart option. The battery comes from APC already charged, although they recommend a 16-hour charge time once it is installed. The power went out about three hours after I installed the new battery and the UPS performed flawlessly.

These replacement batteries are very reliable. We haven't had any issues yet. It's a good low cost way to reuse battery units.

The Watsin battery is a great low cost replacement for the OEM Pentax battery.  I do not see any difference in performance.  (I do wish, however, that B&H would not use such a light font for these reviews.)

We only have a few cycles on these batteries but so far they appear to be a very cost effective replacement for the OEM battery. If you are shooting video on the GM-1 you will want several of these.

For a little more then the cost of a replacement battery I know have a new UPS to protect my desktop computer. Having been involved with computers since 1968 I know two things are important; backing up my data and protecting my equipment and data from power interruptions. I like my new BR700G and can recommend it to anyone needing to protect their computing equipment and data.
