Opencomm2 UC is a much better version of the original Opencomm. I had been using the Opencomm for two years. The Opencomm 2 UC has better battery life, sound clarity, and better comfort & fit.

I was looking for a well made, sturdy and highly usable gimbal to match with the Leofoto LN-364 Tripod and this was a great selection. Not only was the movement smooth and fluid, it held up to abuse on the 1st day of use as I watched it fall over onto a concrete slab as I was loading it into the car. The gimbal head had a scratch on the lower knob and it slightly bent the adjustment rod but otherwise it was undamaged. Much better than it could have been and on several outings so far it performed very well and I've used it in sand/salt water as well as in the rain in several inland settings.

Bought this for Leofoto LN-364-C legs.   Before this I tried a Haoge version, which went into the legs part way, but my video head (Sachtler Ace XL) sat too high to screw in the tie-down.   This bowl fit perfect, sits where it should, and the Sachtler head fits as it should. Not much else to say as this is not a complicated product, but it works great for the Leofoto tripod legs.

OpenComm2 - UC Sooo much better than having a headphone/earbud on or in the ear.

Needed an additional UC-E6 cable for my Nikon D3300 and this works perfectly!

Best Rotary cutter I've ever used. Easy to see the cut line before initiating... no guessing.

Wingman makes my life wonderful. Even just not having to enter in Metadata with a rotary knob is a blessing.

My Rotary club bought this to use routing and mixing audio for our hybrid in-person and Zoom meetings. Has the functionality we need. Light, but sturdy, with clean sound.

the Opencomm2 UC is a bit more simple in terms of connectivity from the last iteration having added a dongle. They're almost the same from what I can tell excluding the Dongle and the biggest change, a mute button on the microphone. If you don't need a mute button, the prior version will do as the bluetooth connection just feels cleaner (I don't have to change audio settings when it's powered off).
