Router Causes My Internet To Drop Randomly

My previous router/modem was also a Netgear product. However, it kept randomly rebooting itself at the most in opportune times. The Orbi combo has been a consistently reliable source for connectivity across multiple devices. The speed is fantastic and the security makes it a solid device for a protected environment. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

My previous modem had randomly crapped out on me. I have a netgear router, which I absolutely love. I decided to give this netgear modem a try. I haven't regretted my decision. It works great!

Replaced my old modem with the Netgear CM700. It has been installed for 2 weeks and have yet had my internet drop out. My old modem required resetting up to 3 times a day. I paired this modem with a Nighthawk router and am very pleased. Very fast speeds on 2.4ghz and insane speeds on the 5ghz. The nighthawk app is very handy as well.

My internet router is two floors up and on the other side of the house...thick plaster walls, etc, etc. it literally took less than five minutes to boost my internet speed to hard wired speeds. Amazingly easy...wish I could give this ten stars!

My internet provider informed me that I needed a new router. This one was recommended and is performing a promised.

Haven't had any problems with my Orbi system as of yet. My old modem/router would drop the wifi signal and I would have to restart everything and so far the Orbi hasn't done that.

I have 3 of these in the theater I operate, and have had zero problems in the 2 years I've had them. Competing brands I've had would randomly drop sync, and were hard to get to connect. With this one, just plug in the receiver end, then the transmitter end (+ power), and it just connects! I've yet to have one of these drop signal, or even glitch due to sync loss. It's a solid unit at a fantastic price.

I had been using the cheaper Hosa 1/4 Y-cable and was randomly experiencing brief audio drop-outs in our headphones. At first I thought it might have been our personal headphone monitor (which is connected to one of the female jacks on this y-cable via a long-run 1/4 cable), but ever since swapping out for this Kopul y-cable, we haven't experienced any drops in audio (knock on wood). The post connections also just feel a bit tighter and the gold plating doesn't hurt I'm sure.

I have purchased several DOCSIS modems in the past - and each of them had a tendency to drop randomly for a few seconds every now and then. I did some research and all of those modems had a chip in common that was known to have this issue. I then researched Modems that didn't have that chip and landed on the CM700. I paired this with an ORBI - and couldn't be happier. I no longer get drops and my network is very solid. I have 450m/s down into the house - works great.

My cable provider’s internet router has such bad coverage in our house. I would try to watch my favorite shows, but was unable because my speed was 5 mbps upstairs. Getting the Orbi, my whole home now has the same excellent internet speed of 80 mbps. Plus I have added security and a simple app to control everything! Love it!
