Router Power Line Plugging Into Surge Protectors

This is a far better solution than stringing several surge protectors in a line. A couple of our buildings don't have outlets every three feet; we needed the reach between outlets to plug everything in. This surge protector keeps our equipment protected without having to drag an extension cord first or having to link several surge protectors.

After a backhoe cut the electrical supply line to my house, surge protectors worked as designed. They were fried, but the electronics were protected. I have no doubt that the Tripp Lite will continue to protect my equipment.

A long 10ft power cord there is also a light indicator that will let you know if your outlet is grounded or not, very important if you want your equiptment truly protected. It fits 6 large power adapters/wallworts (which i have yet to see any other power protector do) it also has 6 more normal sized power plugs for a total of 12, as well as 1 phone line in and 2 out, a cable in and out and an ethernet in and out. There is also a cable organizer which when removed shows the input and output layout for the phone jacks. What makes this unit different from all the others is that all of the power outlets are usable with the way the layout is on this unit. I highly recommend this power protector for the simple fact all of the power outlets are usable unlike most other brands and designs. This item replaces at least 2 surge suppressors which helps keep things nicely organized and neat!

Decided to place several surge protectors on electronics and sensitive appliances. A surge from a power event landed on two circuits, tripping breakers. The Belkin arched and burned, but the new microwave wasn’t harmed.

I would call this a power strip, but in any case it has all needed features, is from a maker than specialized in surge protectors and uni-nteruptable power supplies. It is neatly made, switched, with room at one end for a larger plug-in power adapter. Also available with USB power, but this simple model fits most needs.
