I needed internet access in an old building next to my house. It is too far away from my house to be supported by my wireless router. However, it does share electrical wiring with my house. Running new Cat5 cables was not a good solutions for a variety of reasons so I decided to try TP-Link's AV100 Gigabit Powerline Starter kit. The setup was very easy, basically plug and play. The price was very affordable. While not as fast as a direct connection, it still meets my needs. 5 |

My previous router/modem was also a Netgear product. However, it kept randomly rebooting itself at the most in opportune times. The Orbi combo has been a consistently reliable source for connectivity across multiple devices. The speed is fantastic and the security makes it a solid device for a protected environment.
