Rugged Camera Backpack

I was looking for the most rugged and versatile backpack for my camera gear. This one fits all the requirements. Lots of room inside, monitor sleeve and cleaver design features make this my only choice for a camera bag.

So I wanted something to attach to my backpack shoulder strap at the front, something that could conceal my iPhone without being obvious. The Domke f901 was the perfect solution and it even matched the khaki back pack, blending in very well. The back of this pouch has two Velcro straps and also a sewn in flap so you can 'thread' your belt thru it. This handy and very rugged pouch can pretty much be used for a variety of things and besides attaching it to a bag, backpack or even your pant belt, you can even throw it in your shoulder bag or purse if you may. Very convenient and very rugged.

The Nord gig bag GB73 rugged on outside, soft padding on inside. And the backpack feature is great for keeping your hands free to carry other stuff. John G

I have been searching for a rugged backpack for a good price. The Thunderhead 35 fits my needs perfectly. There are plenty of compartments for all my gear and I couldn't resist the bargain.

This backpack is rugged, stands up on its own (with a water-resistant bottom), and very comfortable. . The straps (sternum and belt) are long enough and padded, so no cutting into your body. There is enough space inside for my equipment; I usually take one camera, a tripod, and three lenses (50, 55-250, and 70-200). I also have room for a water bottle and snacks.

This case is rugged nylon with two loops - on that works well on a belt at your waist, and one that will strap the phone to a backpack or sling camera case. When I wear it on my belt, it often catches on chair arms, car door handles, etc. but in situations where all the cases I've had before would tear the leather straps out of the case, the velcro closures on the loop give just enough to keep the case from tearing. My MotoZ has an otterbox phone case on it, so it is slightly bigger than the naked-phone dimensions. After a couple of days, the nylon relaxed JUST enough to allow the phone to go in and out much more easily. I do like this case. I just need to see how long it will last. Only a week old now, but it is great so far.

Excellent padding and rugged zippers. Hangs easily off my backpack allowing me to bring my 12mm f2.8 fisheye without displacing another lens from the backpack. Glad I got it.
