Ruggedized Digital Camera

I bought this mount to attach a ruggedized camera to the railing on my boats center console to get great pictures of fish I have caught when I am by myself. Although this unit is designed for a GoPro camera, the plate unscrews to reveal a standard 1/4-20 stud which is compatible with most cameras. The aluminum construction is very heavy duty, and the clamp holds tight. The ball head locks up solidly as well, not moving at all even in heavy seas.

I use it as a back up for my digital camera.

I am an avid outdoorsman who would love to make a video for each of my outings. I often see places just once that I will never see again. Of course, having the discipline to take 30 minutes out of a fishing trip to concentrate on video has been my biggest obstacle to achieving this to date. I also love to take great landscape stills of these places. The mix of getting great HD video and 8 MP stills from the same machine is a dream come true for my needs. One of the issues...I'd like to use this machine in possibly wet and rugged conditions...There are no moving parts, but this unit is not ruggedized. There are solutions to meet my every need, but I'm not sure I want to spend more than I have already. I've used non-ruggedized in these

This lens has optics that rival Canon's L lenses. It does not have the ruggedized construction or weather sealing of the L lenses, but has the advantage of being light weight compared to L lenses. I did a comparison test versus the previous kit lens that Canon shipped with most SLR cameras (EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II) and it is at least as sharp as that lens, and, most notably, has much better flare resistance; when I tested it shooting high-contrast photos (such as a very dark subject silhouetted against a very bright sky), there is much better contrast between the light and dark areas than the older design.

Great product. Easy to set up and very ruggedized. Only wish that these cases were less expensive. They are water proof and bullet proof. I've been using these cases over 25 years

I didnt like them at first and though I would return them, but Im glad I didnt because now I love them. They are super durable, clearly made to the ruggedized standard of Marshall, even the cables are durable. Sound is excellent, and they are low profile and dont make me look like princess Leia hanging out with Jaba the Hut. I tried many different brands before I settled on Marshall and they all were flimsy compared to these, and they cost much more. Great buy, worth the money.

I've wanted a ruggedized LaCie hard drive for storage of my most important archives for a long time. The wait meant I could get 5TB for the price I once would have paid for 1 or 2TB (back when 5TB wasn't available). My one hitch was finding out that my computer wouldn't communicate with this drive when connected to a USB 3.0 hub, but a Chat with B&H (thanks, guys!) cleared this up and it works just as intended when connected directly to a port on the PC. One thing to check for when placing your order is that this drive is available with either a USB mini-3.0 port or USB-C. Make certain you select the one you want.

One question that must be asked before placing an order for one of these is whether it's really needed for a LaCie ruggedized hard drive. I ordered mine from a list of recommended accessories, then had to wonder whether my new drive would actually fit in it. Turns out a LaCie Rugged Mini USB 3.0 drive fits in this case as if it was made by LaCie, but that's not all. In addition to an elastic strap to keep your treasured data trove from falling out when it's unzipped, there's an elasticized net pocket on the other side, making possible a variety of uses limited only by your imagination. And it's remarkably well-made.
