Run Device Manager From Command Prompt

The product is exactly what I was looking for. B&H were very prompt with the command processing and shiping. 5 |

I bought the model with the voice command. That feature makes the device easy to use. 5 |

Does exactly what it's supposed to do, and sounds good doing it. I've got zero complaints about the function. Two annoyances though: 1 - LIGHTS A red one for phantom power and another blinky fella under both the small volume knobs. Can't leave it plugged in overnight or my room lights up. Can't put tape over them either :/ I may try to tear it apart and unsolder the LEDS... 2 - It's a thing to attach fake storage to USB devices now and put the device's manual in it. Kinda cool. Until your monitor and audio interface and other audio interface all have manuals filling up the sidebar of OS file manager... it's just gross. Disabling in device manager only lasts until you change the USB port. I suppose you could plug it into every port on your pc and disable it for each to cover them all... Whatever. Not required and it's just clutter. 5 |

I have found through over 25 years of being circulation manager for a newspaper that it pays in the long run to use name brand products. The quality seems better, these ribbons don't shred as off brand ones have for me, and the ribbon has a good ink life. 5 |

I just got this and connected the adapter and went into device manager, selected the adapter to check for updates and it downloaded some drivers and the adapter is active. I love things that are quick to set up and work well. 5 |

My first one was destroyed by an incompetent media manager. Great device allows me to use cards in both my FS7M2 and F5 5 |

I used this cable to test a HDD that would not show up in Device Manager on my laptop. I used it to test the drive in a standalone configuration. I removed the HDD and used this cable to test the drive. I was able to see everything on the drive and prove that it was working properly. The real problem was a small cable in the laptop was loose and not making contact. This cable saved me a whole lot of time troubleshooting time. I'm really glad I bought it. It's construction and durability look great. 5 |

Great little device. It's light enough that I was able to mount it via 3M command strips to a wall without needing to drill holes. My old plaster walls were happy about that. The one thing to be aware of is that you need to use the Ubiquiti controller software on a computer to set it up, you can't just log into a web interface like some of the simpler models on the market. Also, if you have multiple of these in your house, enable wifi roaming. You'll have smoother transitions between access points that way. 5 |

To use this product properly, you need a lot of patience, some technical know-how and coffee - because once youve dived into the nitty-gritty of this device, its very difficult to let go. Ive only had this device for less than a day and have been playing with it a lot. One thing immediately that struck me is that there is nothing on Web GUI to display devices that are connected. Ive had a Linksys e4200 v1 for ages and thats a standard feature on their original firmware (replaced with DD-WRT later). You can see the devices that have leased IP addresses, but you cannot see (or at least I cannot find them) the list of devices connected to the router. Via the magic of CLI (command line interface), you can do a show arp command and this will display you the list of devices. Not the most elegant solution, but for me it works. It may not work for other people. That is so far the only con Ive found so far. On the plus side, its nice to have a Web GUI interface for this device and unlike the Unifi Controller that I have as well. You can configure each port to be its own LAN (VLAN, have not tried it yet). The dashboard on the Web GUI is nice - not as extensive as the Unified Controller - but it has enough information for me. As for its performance, too early to tell. But if you get this and you overcome the learning curve, youll not be disappointed. If you like plug and play, no, this is not for you. 5 |

Nice size to connect from a device and then run to the wall jack. 5 |
