Run Dual Screen Laptop With Lid Closed

This is the first lock I've had that is both TSA approved and able to get thru both halves of the lid to lock the box closed.

I absolutely love this dual screen for my laptop. It also came with extra magnets to be able to switch the dual screen between laptops.

These Lowepro lens cases are excellent. Closed cell foam all around and a well-zippered lid. They didn't have all of the straps in the past, but I'm sure they will come in handy sometime.

I wanted to try out the new rare earth magnetic needle, which is supposed to be more stable, and less effected by near by metals. I haven't had this compass long enough to prove or disprove this claim. The compass housing is classic Brunton design. When closed the lid fully covers the compass base. The lanyard attaches at the lid hinge, which causes a problem laying the compass flat on the map unless the lanyard is tucked into the open space between the hinge and compass base. Sighting a land mark with the mirror is similar to other mirror compass designs. Sighting with the lid laid flat would be enhanced if there was a white sighting line on the inside of the lid below the notch. The needle settles reasonably quickly. When closed the rounded corners give it a nice comfortable feel in the hand. If it doesn't develop a bubble, as some previous Brunton compasses I've owned have done I will be happy with this compass. It also comes wtth 2 Topo Buddy Universal Scale Cards. Sandwiched between heavier stock cards to protect the scale cards. That are riveted at one corner so they can pivot out for use, which is open to permit attachment of a lanyard. The 2 scale cards cover most commonly used scales and also include UTM grid scales. The cards are to large to fit inside the lid, they measure 6.2 cm x 9.1 cm. approximately the size of the compass base.

Is a tad bit small for four AA batteries on each side but with the lid closed they all fit just fine...

AA's do not sit all the way down in each place. Each space is just not quite wide enough to allow for that. I do think they get pressed down once the lid is closed. Not knocking any stars for fitment though, since the batteries are ultimately held tight and that's the important thing.

This is an outstanding microphone for micing a closed lid on a grand piano. While we don't need a microphone to enhance the sound in the church sanctuary it is needed to supply sound to monitors and the streaming signal. We have been using the M40 for several years and when the old one failed we immediately purchase a new one.

I bought this case 7 months ago and it's been abused it in just about every possible way. I've over-filled it, closed the lid with things sticking out, dropped it, thrown it, sat on it, used it as check-in on multiple flights, drug it fully loaded across more than 50km of cobble stone road and other than some visible wear, everything works fine. My only complaint is the gasket doesn't always automatically line up when closing the lid, but a little shove gets it in place. Great price, great durability, highly recommended.

When it's closed it is really compact and easily fit in your camera bag. For me it is a dual purpose gear. You can use it places where the tripod is't allowed or if you use a heavy lens with low shutter speed. Recently I'm using it as an off camera flash holder in street portraiture. I like the fact that in winter or just in cold weather the carbon fiber isn't as cold and it has an extra neoprenish handle cover.
