SN750 or SN850 will do you well. I installed this as the primary OS drive on my laptop. I run Windows and Linux on it no problem. It is quick, and doesn't seem to overheat even in the small space. I like that it comes with TLC memory, so it should last. Comes with a good warranty. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got the new Samsung T9 Portable 1TB SSD drive. The drive is unexpectedly small and quite attractive with a rubber-like covering. I’m very pleased that the drive comes with both USB-A and USB-C cords for attaching to most any type of device. The drive is connected via USB-C to my Mac Studio computer. The Mac OS instantly recognized the drive and allowed me to format it for my Mac (Mac OS Extended Journaled). I tested the speed with a disk speed test utility, which reported 829.8 MB/s (write) and 890.8 MB/s (read). The speed is approximately 11X faster than my other USB external drives. I am struggling with the included Samsung PSSD utility. The app always tells me that the drive is not connected although my Mac sees it and allows me to use it. I’ve tried all of the Samsung troubleshooting suggestions for Mac OS, but it still remains unusable. That really makes no difference for me to use it. Nevertheless, I like everything about the Samsung T9 Portable 1TB SSD drive. It’s a great addition to my system. 5 |

A great little hard drive. It comes with two cables for the different USB ports, which is a plus. It comes formatted in Mac OS Extended, which, while making it Mac specific, makes it easy to partition. I partitioned mine to use 1/4 of the space as a Time Machine, with the rest for file storage. 5 |

My Clickfree drive didn't make it past the El Capitan OS X upgrade. Badly in need of a back up drive for my MacBookPro I purchased WD's 3TB My Passport USB 3.0 drive. (Yes, it is backward compatible to USB 2.0) What a pleasure it is to purchase a technology product that works perfectly and exactly as advertised. Initialize Time Machine, select either a back up schedule or not and then initiate a back up and this device backs up your entire hard drive. 5 |

This is a great flash drive that has proven stable across various OS platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac) and has great features. The retractable USB interface works great and holds tightly when connected to a computer while the build quality is nice; the plastic is solid and holds up to daily use. 5 |

I bought this flash drive to backup the OS for my new laptop. The drive is fast enough using either connector. My only word of caution is with the string thingy. It doesn't come attached, and it's tricky to figure out on your own. But since it's only useful for keeping track of the cap and putting the flash drive on a keychain, I didn't take any points off for it. It was kinda fun to figure out how to put it on. 5 |
