Run System File Checker At Boot

The device works well via USB. I have not successfully run it via eSATA. The system hangs on boot in a A2 state, unable to communicate with the drive but I suspect that's more of a controller card issue than the device itself, since it is not the recommended controller but something left over from another project that I tossed in. I can't blame Oyen for that.

I LOVE this system. It attaches on top of the color checker and you can't mess up the black level even if you tried.

I recently rebuilt my 10 year old desktop so it would run Windoze 11. New MB, RAM, Etc. It took about 40 seconds to boot to the main screen using a 7200rpm WD hard drive. With the Samsung SSD, that's now cut to about 11 seconds. Great way to improve the boot time.

I had planed on using this as a boot drive. It was too small, though that was my own fault. I use it to run a video editing program and it works fine. I've had no problems with it and of course if make zero noise.

Replaced a 27 iMac 3.3/32GM/2TB FU with this beast. Do video work mostly and this is does the job much much quicker and cleaner. Processes that employ a single processor seem to run a tad bit slower than on the old machine; however, anything that enjoys/employs multiple CPU usage fly. Always have plenty of processing left for normal mundane chores such as email, internet browsing, eight security cameras, recording 3 channels of HD TV, and watching videos on the 2nd monitor @ 2560x1440 . Packaging and shipment were excellent. The Apples standard box is extremely durable and weighs more than the unit itself; but easy to unpack the iMac Pro and get it set up. Upgraded mac OS to Mojave 10.14.1 and run Windows 10 Update 1803 over Boot Camp. Both work great now, no thanks to Microsoft. For the Boot Camp side, pay close attention to turning off power management within the Windows Device Manager for external USB Hard Drives and Raid Arrays. I also had to uninstall the Video Adapter in Windows Device Manager to circumvent some odd display and performance issues - display appeared to have a burnt graphics chip complete with stripped display, etc... even though there wasnt anything wrong with the hardware. Overall an excellent buy and I am completely satisfied, Now to sell my old configuration - when you do this, the system will automatically restart to reinstall the Video Adapter. Totally recommend B & H - decent price (lower than my local Apple Store) and spot on delivery schedule. Purchased with additional hardware and software - all received on the scheduled delivery date in excellent condition. Excellent job B & H!!!

I am currently shooting a small feature and this Tascam unit has made thing incredibly easy on set. No cables to the camera, with solid 4-track, portable recording. Very easy file management, phantom power on any of the inputs, options for file formats. The only thing I would wish for is a battery power unit that could run the 70D, as opposed to AA batteries. We bought the accessory that allows us to plug into house electricity, but only AA's to run portable. I wish it could off camera batteries camera batteries or some other long lasting power source. Not a huge deal - the AA's make it about 1/2 of shooting.
