I ditched the included software and just started using it as an external drive. It connected perfectly, no hitches. And I loaded up a 630 Gbyte ZIP file backup onto it. It was relatively speedy, though it took about 6-7 hours to load that 630 Gbyte ZIP file from another external drive to it. Nonetheless, I'm very pleased with it so far. 5 |

Works as it should...does make the console run hot tho...would suggest using a cooler while using the external drive. 5 |

I have two computers to back up and I wanted space to do a system image and a backup of specific files. That way I could restore the whole system if the hard drive went bad, or I could just restore a specific file if the file went bad. This hard drive has the space to do that for both of my computers. And the cost is the lowest anywhere. The drive is small and fits perfectly in my safe. Very happy. Thank you. 5 |
