Running Refrigerator In Cold Garage
Scott In Montana | 2024-09-21 03:36:46 |
The battery works very well with my Delta 2. I am using these to run my refrigerator and freezer in my garage. I have installed fixed solar panels that have so far provided enough power to work for most of the day. The automation features and reserve power settings are very useful. I have already been able to use the units to power my refrigerators during a power outage. Great combination. 5 |

I purchased the Delta Max 2000, and 2 of the 220w bifacial solar panels for emergency backup power when the electricity goes out. It will keep the refrigerator and deep freezer running so food doesn’t spoil. I charged it with with the home a/c outlet and have not used the solar panels yet. I plugged in the refrigerator and deep freezer and it has plenty of power to keep them running until it can be recharged with the solar panels. I believe this will be perfect though I haven’t tested the solar panels. 5 |

We were looking for a power source which could run our kitchen refrigerator and other items during power outages to replace our outdoor backup generator and finally a product arrived that combined cost, convenience and run-time in one package. We keep it just around the corner from the kitchen so we can simply plug the fridge into the DELTA 2 when a power outage hits. We tested it and were able to get over 8 hours from a single charge which is enough to get us through most blackouts. But the major convenience is not having to go outside, set up the generator, get it running, run extension cords, and keep an eye on the gas tank. Just being able to stay indoors and keep essential items running when it might be pouring rain outside is a big deal. And the price was great - just no comparison to what the competition offers. 5 |

Strong enough to hold up a refrigerator, I think. Fits perfectly, of course. 5 |

Lasts many sessions in the cold. So nice to not be running extension cords. Pricey but very much worth it! Attaches to the leg of the tripod and is outta the way too. 5 |

It does seem to hold a better charge in normal temps. Only tested it one cold night but it kept the MAX running. So far so good 5 |

Lightweight, long running time, reliable at cold temperatures. A must buy for anyone who uses AA batteries in outdoor. 5 |
