I have had many lenses of this type, from Korea, Russia and so forth, Initially, the performance has been good, but later the performance has so to speak tailed off. At first, I suspected sabotage, but, of late, I think that the large amount of lead in the optical glass is migrating to the silver surface of the mirrors, causing the premature deterioration of the lens performance. Could this be? At $95, even if this lens only lasts 6 months, this is a bargain. Maybe one could exchange it for a new lens after 6 months and pay a fee, much like a rental fee. I have taken my Fuji X-T1 and X-T2 all over the world, from Alaska to Russia and China. I have been amazed by the range of the lens; from wide to mid-tele. And the lens is tack-sharp. You can buy more lenses (I also have a 10-24), but really this is all you need. 5 |

I bought this camera to meet the rules of Russia travel. (Small, non professional, not full frame, limited to 250 mm lens) I have read the manual and taken some images. The lens and camera are well paired and the quality is remarkable. It is one of the few cameras in its class that will shoot raw. It is a good but not as good as my D850. Thanks for BH advisor who steered me in its direction. 5 |

I just traveled to Russia with a bag full of old 120 cameras and this great little light meter. It is fast and easy to use, sturdy, light and inexpensive enough to travel without worry. I did some test rolls with it and got consistently good readings. I was planning to get the much more expensive Sekonic L-385, but I'm happy to have saved the money with this reliable basic meter. 5 |
