Russian Underwater Assault Drone

My dad have Leica filters from the 1980s that still look new. The brass mounts withstand the assault of time. Even scratches look better on a Leica filter than those from B&W, Nikon, Canon, Hoya, etc. I am using this to protect a Leica Q2 when shooting in the rain, at the beach, or when traveling. There is no flair or extraneous aberrations when paired with the Q2. I look forward to move this onto a Leica Q3 when that arrives.

I use it for underwater photography.

I bought this to attach my old Russian lens to my GH5 and it seems to work well. I have tried it out in the field yet, but so far so good.

Excellent for underwater videos.

I use this, believe it or not, in my toy/lomo cameras. I have a Lubitel 166 B (Russian, not the Lomography one) , and a Holga 120. This film is fantastic in both. It's got great color results, can be pushed to 400 without issue, and tolerates the one aperture , one speed limitation of the Holga well. I get my best results with it during double-exposures.

I was worried that this wouldn't adjust to fit my giant old Russian 500mm, but it all fitted together in moments. Perfect fit. The camera attachment pivots so that the lens will rest neatly on the end support no matter the diameter. It's all very solid and secure and I use this off the tripod to keep everything together. Since I already have a Manfotto tripod I attached another quick release plate under the whole assembly to snap on and off the tripod. Great !

if you are restoring a Russian sniper/ ex-sniper. Scope is authentic , especially turret adjustments. Mount and base are awesome as well. Real steal, not some cheap alloy. Very satisfied and worth the wait.

I've bought this adapter so I can use an old Russian lens on my Canon 5D MK3. It is very well made, attaches securely to the lens and the camera body, no light leaks or any other issues, and the price is great!

I� love this lens. It gets me shots I wouldn't get otherwise.� I also have the original Russian version of the lens which must be forty years old.� This is actually a small Maksutov telescope and you can attach an eyepiece and use it as a telescope.� Got the Opteka for the modern coatings.� This lens is manual so you will have to go outside your comfort zone to use it but that's how you get results in the real world. When I shoot a bird on the wing I notice where the birds are flying and then focus on a sign or post that is about the same distance.� Every serious photographer should have one of these.� They are perfect when you have a light subject in direct sunlight - such as the beach or a snow scene or a sunset.

I used it as a replacement on my Russian SKS and I really like the Illuminated Mil-Dot Reticle in both red and green. Mounting was easy since it was a replacement scope and the length of the scope was the same.
