Rv Gps With Wireless Backup Camera

My backup camera (6DMKII) has built-in GPS and I would have loved to see it in the R-5, but they chose not to. So, this Canon GPS receiver is plan B. It is a bit difficult to set up, but once you discover you don't need a cable to set it up, then it gets easy to follow directions. It works great on my R5 and I love knowing where exactly I took an image. I gave it a 5-star rating for the quality and ease of use. Grab one while you can because they run out of stock quickly.

I needed a backup camera for a older VW so with the newer GPS system this has a great wide angle shot for the user. Batteries last 2 months and yes it can be stolen pretty easy so just know your limits of safety for this device.

We have over a dozen gps in the last 25 yrs…this is the best one we have…it is being used in the car instead of the stupid one in the car…backup for my bike cuz I love my NAV VI for motorcycling and its renewal program if there are problems is excellent (used about 5 times).. thanks

Purchased this as a backup for my colombus 990 GPS data logger. Since it comes with a SD adaptor you can just snap the two together and pull off the data from your laptop/desktop computer...

Wireless is great until there's a problem. That's why I always carry backup cords to a shoot on location.

Works just as well as my notebooks internal wireless card. It makes a good backup solution.

I already have the 30L model. Bought this one on sale to expand capacity for photo gear (DSLR Camera, Lenses, GoPro). I photograph canine dock diving in the damp Florida weather and my gear sometimes gets water splashes on camera & lenses. I do underwater video with the GoPro. This model is more portable (size of a small microwave) to take in RV when I do travel photo shoots. The RV has a tendency to get very cold and damp and the camera fogs when going outside. Not sure if it will cure this but will keep it dry. Note that this model has slightly more width but less depth than the 30L model. This means long lenses have to fit sideways. Note in the photo this model has a brighter display. I tried to brighten the 30L display but this one is much brighter. No other issues found and these seem well made. Easy to change humidity settings but keep the owners manual handy for reference. Overall a good investment for photo gear or other electronics exposed to a damp environment.
