I haven't used this on a job yet but did a test in my apt building. While the TX was on the 4th floor, the RX could pick up signal all the way from the ground floor. While using the Acssoon CineEye 2, I was only able to get a clear signal from the 3rd floor so this is 3 times as powerful. This is about twice as expensive as the CineEye 2 but I would trust this more for professional work, granted it has a dedicated RX. I paired this with a Lilliput 4K 12.5 monitor and it works very well with it. You can use one of those thick Nintendo Switch cases - its quite a good fit. See image below 5 |

For one, this thing is HUGE!!! I'm 6'4 295lbs and I fit under this thing when I have it sitting on the floor. It's massive! It took forever to get to me which I didn't like but I guess that's on aputure, but man when I got it.... This light dome is everything I could ask for. Make sure you're strong though because the rods inside are pretty hefty to pull out. 5 |

I bought this with the Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black,10') by Impact; I have occasional use for these in photography, but I mainly use them as a general-purpose lamp, and for this they're great! The stand is very sturdy, and the light is bright and great, and dimmable, and consumes little power (20W). Tilt it down for reading, or up to light the room. The only problem is that the stand takes up a lot of floor space; not idea for squeezing between a sofa and a wall. Much cheaper than a high-quality floor lamp, much more functional, and has a certain industrial charm. 5 |
