Ryzen 9 5900X Cooling

Upgraded from a Ryzen 5 2600 to the Ryzen 9 5900X. 32 Gb RAM now running at rated speed (3600 MHz) by enabling XMP. To say this is significantly faster is a bit of an understatement. I have not completed benchmark, but this processor is going to handle my photo and video processing requirements for a LONG time.

I FINALLY was able to get a hold of a Ryzen 9 5900x and I can't language how frustrated and dissappointed I was when it wasn't working after I jumped through all the hoops. Updated bios, etc, ended up swapping back and forth between the Ryzen 5 3600 I had and the new one and it just wouldn't work. Infinite reboot loop. So anyway, B&H customer service was absolutely stellar. They just handled the refund and I purchased another unit when I received another notification that stock was available. I work in telecom and am acutely aware of the silicon and supply chain issues so I'm no Karen (although my name is Chad, don't judge me). The B&H service was gracious and pretty standard, but out of nowhere they just upgraded the shipping on the new purchase to next day air! The replacement CPU plugged in and fired up and works like it should. I'm very happy, so thanks B&H! Just so happens it's my birthday so I kinda feel like I got an awesome gift! You rock, and I'm going to do what I can to purchase my rtx 3080 or Radeon 6800xt (Asus Tuf version) video card (whenever the heck that happens) from you as well. 10 out of 10, all the stars. Thanks y'all. You rock.

So far so good, built my new desktop about a week ago and thrown over 30 hours on. Ryzen 9 5900x, gigabyte 3060

I upgraded from a Ryzen 1700 non X. Was irritated because I wanted the 5900x. But due to this ridiculous paper launch, I ended up picking up the 5800x. Tho I don’t have an upgraded GPU and I’m still using the GTX 1070. I got a little over 20fps boost in 1080p gaming. Able to have everything maxed out running 100fps . Also noticed a snappier response in my daily general use. As well as my 3D modeling being a lot smoother and having no lag. I’m grateful I was able to purchase this game here at B&H at msrp. With all these shady businesses scalping, I tip my hat for not ripping us gamers off. Oh, and the free game is an added bonus! Thank you!!

I replaced a Ryzen 7 2700 with this one. I am doing hobby 3Dvideo an animation. Since I got the new 5900x, I noticed that rendering time shrunk drastically. And unfortunately, I am still using my old Nvidia geforce 1060. What would it be with a new 3070? Most probably a totally different world.

I purchased this to upgrade from my Ryzen 9 3900X. The 5900X is a huge leap in single core performance over the 3900X, which is quite powerful already. And the price on B&H beat all competitors. Customer service is quick and courteous. I am now a B&H customer for life!

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x and I keeps it pretty cool. I haven’t seen anything higher then 60s and it cooler it’s self is pretty quite and the design is really nice and simple to install

I build a new PC for my daughter's thanksgiving gift. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X was gone for a LONG time. Perfectly, it is IN STOCK again before thanksgiving holiday. I love it. Overall performance may NOT be very different with my preview AMD Ryzen 7 2900 which I built in a few years ago. But, to work with Music Maker software and Vegas Pro, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is fast performance. Thank you.

The Ryzen 7 CPU is a fantastic core processor that does a satisfactory job computing whatever tasks you assign to it. The included cooling fan does it's job well and includes thermal paste for that little extra cooling efficiency.
