A great board for ryzen 9 5000 series. Very well built and easy to set up. It does everything it says it will do and then some! 5 |

I’m not a gamer, just a photographer and fine art printer. So, even with all the bad news and confusion re the Ryzen 9000 series, I decided to go ahead and replace my 7900 with a 9900X anyway. I have an MSI MPG B650i EDGE WiFi motherboard in an open case with an ID-Cooling SE-207-XT air cooler to which I have attached a second fan. The 7900 runs with DDR5-6000 memory, Game-Boost and the TDP elevated to 105W. It pulls 142W running Cinebench R23 with a high temperature of 79C for a multi-core score of 27550. When I replaced the 7900 with the 9900X, with the BIOS cleared except for EXPO, Cenibench R23 scored it at 32214 with a high temp of 81C. That’s a 17% improvement, much better than I expected. Think I’ll be keeping the 9900X and seeing how much I can wring out of it with a better cooler. I have no intention of playing the core parking game. Some good news re the 9000 series is overdue. I appreciate that gaming drives the technology, but other users make up a large part of the marketplace, so it seems wrong for gaming to influence the whole picture. Even though AMD fumbled the rollout, the 9900X is still a great CPU for non-gamers. 5 |

I'm very excited with motherboard. It is fast and responsive in all respects. I recomend it to every AMD RYZEN 7 Series user. 5 |

Came with really old BIOS that couldn't support Ryzen 5000-series but BIOS FlashBack worked like a charm 5 |

I've had this 5950X on notification here at B&H since it was announced and I missed out on any sort of pre-order. More than 6 months later, I finally had my chance to purchase it. This is at no fault of B&H but more of the current climate facing everyone during the aftermath of everything shutting down. That said, I swapped over from a 3900X after updating the BIOS on this X570 Aorus Master and it has been absolutely flawless. No need to reinstall Windows or jump through hoops. Just drop and go! Overall, the increased performance with production type tools that can utilize the cores has been fantastic and gaming has been as smooth as ever. If you have a use for those cores, definitely give the 5950X a look! From Ryzen 1000 series in 2017 with it's rough bumpy road to stability till now with the Ryzen 5000 series in 2020/21, I will gladly recommend this platform and series of CPUs every single day of the week as it has definitely matured greatly. 5 |

I was looking to upgrade my PC to the AMD Ryzen 5000 series and needed a new MB. So I took a risk on an open box MB (looking to save a few $$$), I should have just gone straight to this when I was buying as the open box MB didn't work (go figure). Bought this one and worked perfectly! It was an upgrade to the open box MB so I'm very happy all around. 5 |

All benchmarks show the new Ryzen 5000 series CPUs perform better than its competitor in both productivity and gaming. It is a no brainer. I needed the high core count of the 5900X to power my unRAID media/NAS/gaming server. It runs like a champ while being quiet and in low temp. Shout out to B&H Photo for allowing pre-order on this product. Other retailers require you to play the game of who can check out the fastest, and you can never beat the scalper bots. While I wait for my pre-order to be filled, I tried my luck on buying one from other retailers and failed miserably every single time when there was a stock alert. 5 |
