I live in Sacramento and the lighting is usually very harsh for most of the day in the summer. I use these ND filters frequently to tone down harsh light and to make the contrast of the shadows not so powerful. Would highly recommend!

Very large, more for an executive style desk that is more than 3ft deep

Great vest. I'm using it in an underground coal mine. It's like having an extra pair of hands. It distributes weight evenly. I use it for batteries, flashes, all sorts of accessories. There are no pockets for big lenses, but that's O.K. It would make the vest too heavy and cumbersome. It's pretty good at repelling lime and coal dust and water and is not likely to tear easily. Pockets are lined with soft material, which is easy on lenses. These vests are a little pricey, but worth it. They're professional gear and are made for rugged use.
