I know this clamp is useful for much more than attaching a GoPro to a car top or pipe on a safari truck, but it works great for this. I don't have to make sure the windshield is clean or if there will be a glint on the windsield. I also don't have to worry about it coming off. You clamp this thing on and the GoPro isn't going anywhere. It comes off easily too. The only downside is the weight/size. This is a serious clamp that will hold your gear securely. It is kind big though. 5 |

I went on safari with a very strict weight restriction. Wearing my cameras, lenses, binoculars and other photo accessories on the puddle jumper flights made the restrictions a breeze. Also on the game drives its just easier to have everything on you without having to dig around a bag. 5 |

I bought this kit about a year ago. My car has a 6 point roll bar welded in place. This kit - 155/2933 camera platform with 035 Super clamp - holds a 2-3 lbs video camera very steady. The clamp is versatile in mounting; just about any position and angle. It is of high quality construction and great value - I can not find any equivalent product at a better price. I plan to get a 2nd kit to have both front/rear facing car cameras. 5 |
