Safari Camera Backpack

I bought this to take a mirrorless DSLR and lens on safari n my carryon Peak backpack…the setup of my dreams!

If you want a bomber backpack that looks safari cool without trying this is the one! I get so many compliments on this pack. I love rolling up a blanket and strapping it in the overhead flap. It is perfect for your every adventure and I have now had a pair of sunglasses for over a month that I have not broken. Love it!

I researched countless telephoto lenses to take on a photo safari in Namibia. Space in my backpack was very limited. Shooting with it I managed to get what I never thought possible. Most full extensions remained in clear focus (stabilized and auto focused). Post production has proved easier than I thought. Mounted to a Canon R5 it worked well in cramped quarters and and setup rapidly. Impressive lens!

I love this photo backpack. I first used mine on a 2 week Photo Safari in Kenya and Tanzania and carried a Fuji X-T1 with 100-400mm lens attached plus several other Fuji lenses and a Fuji X-Pro1 body and extra batteries and necessities. It also had a zippered space for an iPad Pro, and on the exterior a Sirui Carbon Fiber tripod which slips into a sleeve at the bottom of the pack. It is made of a rugged canvas and is very sturdy and has large and small compartments perfect for stowing everything. I continue to use it whenever I travel with my cameras. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

I bought the battery as a second, really a third for my wife's new camera to be sure she would have all day power on an upcoming safari.

I have the Leica Duovids, which are my baseline for comparing any other binoculars to when I am on Safari, usually once a year. I purchased the Zeiss and had them on safari with me Jan 2018, together with my Leicas. I have no hesitation in recommending the Zeiss, and for the price, have great clarity, sharpness, and colour. Compared to my Leicas, I honestly love them both, equally, and are Zeiss are the perfect companion on safari as they are fairly compact.

This is an excellent camera for the price.. I had d my doubts carrying it for the first time on Safari to Kruger national but the phots were super and camera extremely easy to use by a novice like myself . B&H sales folks were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable - thank you , great experience .
