Sail Internet Speed Test

I have Xfinity and one day I decide to do a speed test, I’m paying for gigabit internet and was barely getting 70 mbps with their provided router. I decided to upgrade and this thing WORKS it was an easy install, a lot smaller than the previous one and handles my internet speed easily no bottlenecks or anything. I have previously bought net gear and ended up coming back I know where my business will always be!

The Netgear CM1000 was a breeze to setup and once registered, I ran an internet speed test to find out that I was now getting the maximum speed for my service. Highly recommend it.

This modem allows me to use my gigabyte Internet to its full capacity with no problem. Speed test shows 965 MB per second Internet speed download.

I bought this to replace a Photek Softlighter II which gave great light but didn't play well with outdoor shoots or breezes. This is still a sail, but at least it's a sail that won't blow apart (or away, with assistants or sandbags). I have the 3' version also, and this is much more bothersome to set up. The poles can be a real tangled mess, and tend to cross over themselves and complicate assembly. They also slip out of their slots very easily. When you get this, make an inch-long loop of gaffer tape, sticky side out. Wrap this around the poles that fit into the outer slots by the large opening, then wedge them into those slots, securing it with another piece. Otherwise, the poles are constantly slipping out and you waste valuable time reseating them. The poles tend to cross over themselves when disassembled, making it hard to find the pole which is opposite the first one you put into the speed ring. So take a sharpie and mark the speed ring end of two poles that are opposite each other. Once those are in, assembly is pretty quick. This thing is expensive, but I've gone through a couple umbrellas with diffusion socks, which cost me more in the long run. Not to mention the problem of what to do when your diffuser breaks in the middle of a shoot.

I have had zero issues with this modem and the internet speed has been great!

Wifi has long range of effectiveness. Internet connection is stable. My internet speed is 200 mbs and this modem router is doing a great job transferring the signal!
