Salt Waterproof Camera

I got the DicaPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case mainly to keep out salt water and sand as I take a lot of beach photos. But when I took this in the water, I was amazed at the ease of use and the overall performance of this water proof case. I even took it about 3 or 4 feet under water for some great shots. After searching for a case that wasn't too bulky or too expensive, I found this Dicapac to be the perfect fit for my needs. The only thing I would have like would be an extra finger slot on the left side of the case because one of my particular Sony A350 SLR's has the power button on the left side. It takes some getting use to, but with just an hour of practice with shooting in the water I was shooting all day in the water with no worries of salt sand or damage to my cameras. Sometimes the seal can seem hard to close, so make double sure it is zipped tight. Other than that this is a fantastic product that I foresee getting lots of use out of. I plan to buy another DicaPac WP-S10 Waterproof Case soon for my backup camera.

Good Camera with tough body and got waterproof

I was skeptical at first when I saw this but decided to try it out on my Canon T2i. I use my camera in wet areas and on the beaches where sand and salt water blows through the air. This cover fit very well with no problems and was easy to install. All function buttons still work just fine however the shutter release button has a little less feel to it. Cover does a good job protecting the area between where the lens and camera attach.

I use the RainCoat RS to protect my camera/lens from rain, salt spray and where blowing dust or sand is an issue.

I tend to get a while powder on my camera body - salt from my finger-tips. This product is specifically made for marine use and it cleans the rubber camera body without causing any damage to the surface (like an alcohol-based product would). It also is great for cleaning the lens surface. No more white salt residue!

The slide lite camera strap meets all my requirement no matter when I use it for my mirrorless camera or DSLR. It is quite convenience and comfortable for me to make handheld shots or tripod shots with my camera and even holding the camera on body. However, I am not sure if the anchor housings metal part can get rusty or if there is any anti-rusty paint on the metal part of the anchor housings to prevent rust when people use the strap at the salt water environment e.g.: seaside, on salt water fishing boat, on marine vessel ... I am really impressed on the product especially PD is quite concern on environmental protection and global warming.

Love it for its size, weight, and head. Take the useable camera weight with a grain of salt. Not a good choice for something equivalent to my D850 w/200-500
