Sample Form Surveillance Camera Usage Workplace

I already have one and needed more channels so picking up another Ultralite mk3 was an easy choice. 10in 14 out up to 192 kHz sample rate on all 10 analog inputs, MIDI interface and that means with 2 units at under $1200 I am able to record 20 channels simultaneously. I connect them direct to my laptop or use 2 of the USB in the Akai Force and USB to my laptop. The advantage over ADAT channels is the sample rate drop. The advantage over AVB is price point, so its a good place to get stuck in. Might be confusing to less experienced because there are so many ways to route internally , but there is no compromise on quality. Beautiful sounding compressor/limiter, 60 seconds of warm reverb, wave form generator, superb eq per channel. DSP meter and if you have limited real estate, I have yet to find so much in such a small form factor. B&H rock the best pricesand they are straight shooters, it difficult for me to shop elsewhere because the service and communication is superior.

Just bought this to use at my workplace. Love it.

I upgraded form 8 Gig to 32 gig as my memory usage was running high in the 80% range now I have not seen it above 40%. When upgrading in a Dell after you restart it, it requires at least a minute or more to recognize it, it just sits there with a blank screen but then boots up. B&H was really fast to ship it out to me at a great price A+++.

As a bit of a stickler for audio quality when filming the above, I usually ended up with over-engineered gear for the usage, which took away form the spontaneity and fluidity of the capturing the material (which is the point, right?). So I relented after many word of mouth recommendations, and let me tell you, these have made life so much easier. Surprisingly good audio, very small and extremely lightweight gear addition, easy setup and pairing, works with DSLR and iOS - hard to find any fault. Now, is it a Schoeps CMC 6 with an MK 41 capsule? No. And it is omnidirectional, so it can pick up a little more than expected in a room that's leans toward noisy. But for the price, the size and the feature set, well worth it, and will be in heavy rotation.

I bring this everyday to my workplace. Very convenient.
