Samson Microphone Boom Arm Stand

The shock mount connect better with the Samson Microphone Boom Arm than the adapter they include with the microphone. You have to remove the inner adapter and this connects to the boom arm. Very solid, and reduces noice when you move the arm or bump the desk.

The microphone works well with my Samson boom arm (38) , and works well over USB. I don't have an audio interface for XLR at the moment but it seems you can get a little bit more quality out of the mic through XLR. The noise rejection is very good, and so much better than a cardioid mic. I use this to work from home, and even when kids are running upstairs and my chair squeaks, no one can hear. Shure's software is also quite good, and has a lot of customization like profiles you can set and different effects.

I use it to attach a boom arm to my microphone stand and it works perfectly.

The 512 AUDIO 512-BBA Microphone Boom Arm is a solid Mic boom arm that can handle a pretty heavy Microphone at a good price. It will definitely do the job for me.

So, I purchased the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone Kit with Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm (Black) and I must say I don't have any regrets. Off the top, there is one thing that I wish were different, but nonetheless, these products are pretty amazing.  Firstly, the Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is remarkably impressive in the construction, sound quality, and remarkable depth of controls that you have via the Shure Desktop Motiv app or the on-mic controls. This brings me to the thing that wished were different. The connectivity of the app. Shure does provide access to both a desktop and a smartphone app (that you will have to download) but the microphone can only be connected to the devices using wires. It would be more convenient if they were able to connect wirelessly (via WiFi or/and Bluetooth). Once connected to your device the mic can be used or it can also be used by connecting to an audio device using an XLR cord. (regular microphone cable). The Shure MV7 Podcast Microphone is an incredible option for content creators without the needed accessories like cloud lifter and the likes, which other microphones in that category demands. This saves you money, time (as it is faster and easier to set up), and it is more compact and less of a distraction while in use. Lastly, the Blue Compass Premium Tube-Style Boom Arm is smooth, modern, and extremely pleasant to look upon. The Boom Arm is impressively designed and helps tremendously with cable management. The cable fits snuggly in the arm. The boom arm is not bulky and is built very sturdily. Once, the microphone is mounted, it is very easy to adjust the boom arm for perfect positioning. I LOVE THIS!!!

I bought the Deluxe Extended Two-Joint Mic Arm for use in my new voiceover booth. Space is tight, so I knew I didn't want to have a typical stand taking up precious real estate. Using this boom-arm and the matching wall mount made short work of getting my booth up and running. With the dual-jointed arm, and extra long segments, the microphone can be positioned from very low to very high, without having to fiddle around with mic-stand clutches or standard boom arm adjustments. All it takes is a simple push or pull and the mic is positioned exactly where it's needed. The springs do make a slight rumbling sound which is picked up by my microphone, even though it's mounted on a shockmount. But, I will add some split vinyl hose pieces over the springs to dampen the vibration. Typically done in radio stations across the nation where this is a problem. High quality, great price, and fast shipping from B.H. PhotoVideo. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and ordering from B.H. PhotoVideo was a pleasure.

I needed a boom arm but not the stand to hold it, so this was perfect. It's substantial enough that I can trust it to hold the microphone, and it telescopes smoothly.

I walked into the store to purchase a cheap boom arm for another band mates microphone stand. The store associate steered me away from the cheaper option to this one, which was less than $10 more. Although I'm happy with the boom arm form my mic stand, I was a little jealous of this one once I checked it out. It's great quality for just a little more money. I will by buying K&M again.

I purchased this to mount my Canon M50 to my Samson boom arm. The ball head is handy for getting the perfect angle. The 1/4 thumbscrew to attach it to your camera or other device works as expected and I find it easy to use. Just beware that the screw does come completely out so you have to hold everything in place while attaching the camera which can be tricky at first and I have dropped it many times, and it is very solid heavy metal so it has dented my desk. The dents don't concern me but it you had it over a tablet or something breakable underneath it while setting up or breaking down, you could cause some damage if you aren't careful. Just something to be aware more than anything but I still think it deserves 5 stars! It's a small piece of equipment that I couldn't work without now that I have it!
