Samsonite Trekking Camera Backpack

I got it to use with my Contour camera. I love the fact that it comes with a velcro strap which make it easy to strap on almost anything, like a backpack strap or trekking pole.

The new capture is perfect! The camera-plate slides in easy in and out. It is smaller, than the old one, so you feel it less than before when you use it with your backpack. I will buy another one, for my other backpack. When I think about my trekking-tour without it: It was horrible. Now everyone on trekking-tours asks me for the name of this part. A good gift for friends, who like to photograph.

4th Samsonite backpack we have purchased.

I am a professional engineering consultant and I do a lot of camera photography as well. I needed a backpack instead of a briefcase. I searched high and low for all sorts of camera bags but none could offer a sweet spot to serve as a dual camera bag and office bag backpack. Many camera bags would focus too heavily on camera gear and little on business functionality. I have very high end and expensive professional camera gear but only use four prime lenses. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to change my focus from trying to find a camera bag that does business to finding a business bag that I can also use for my camera gear. Equipped with some lens pouches, I can securely place my expensive camera gear in my backpack and have all the functionality of a mobile office as well. The Samsonite Openroad backpack does not disappoint and I have already bought the 15.6 inch backpack as well as the larger 17.3 inch backpack. Love it, Love it, Love it. I hope Samsonite keeps this functional and comfortable to carry Openroad backpack in their line up for many years to come as I have referred many to buy this well made backpack. Very pleased with this backpack - purchased specifically for travel to Africa for gorilla trekking and safaris. All my needed gear fit well, and really like the zipper compartments for accessories, journal, etc. Sure will get plenty of use in years to come - high quality construction and seems quite sturdy. Would purchase again!!

For mi kind of work in sports events and trekking is an excellent backpack. fully wetproof and lots of zips to reach confortable the equipment. Also it is not to big, just a good size for 1 body, 3 lenses, flash, drone and some batteries and chargers.
