[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't figure out why I was opposed to ordering my new computer with a Solid State Drive instead of a HDD. Perhaps I was leery of the technology. I since replaced the HDD with the Samsung 860 Pro Solid State Drive. Before it to several minutes for the system to boot, now it is almost instantaneous. The overall performance of my system has increased 100 fold. Kudos to Samsung for their continuously innovative products. They made me a believer. 5 |

I installed the Samsung 250GB Solid State Drive in my Lenovo desk-top computer. I moved Windows and all my application software to the solid state drive and all of my personal files to the internal disc drive. The disc drive is backed by an external disc drive. The resulting system is much faster. The installation went very smooth, although I had the entire system backed up on an external disk drive incase anything went wrong. 5 |

I bought this Samsung 256GB flash to create a Windows To Go install as an emergency backup for my PC. The host PC has USB 3.2 ports so I am able to achieve the full speed on the Samsung flash drive. It really is nearly as fast as running from a Sata 6 GB/s SSD. Boot and response times are fine. As an alternative, this drive could easily be used for transporting large files between systems. Bottom line is that at the cost being asked for this flash drive, just under $60 at the time of this writing, the speed and size are truly amazing. 5 |

I cloned this Samsung 256GB SSD 850 PRO drive from my Samsung 250GB SSD 850 EVO drive using my backup software. The system started with no problems. If this 256GB SSD 850 PRO is as fast and reliable as the 250GB SSD 850 EVO it is replacing, I will be extremely satisfied. Also, the PRO has a 10 year limited warranty. The 250GB SSD 850 EVO will replace the hard drive in my wife's laptop. 5 |

Upgraded my 256GB i3 Lenovo to 2TB Samsung 990 Pro. I used the magician software to increase the performance of my drive and thus computer and after tweaking practically every performance optimizer available on my laptop, we're running smooth, like it came right out of the box. I'm honestly loving this drive and thinking about making it a staple for future operating system migrations and upgrades. The Encryption issue: I don't use Samsung's encryption thing, as Lenovo already has one (ProTip: Decrypt your system before you migrate it over to a new hard drive). I have no complaints. It's looking good over here. One thing I have noticed is when I run the health check thing that gives speeds and such, the numbers seem to go lower every time, mostly. Some actually get higher. Not sure if it's because there's so much on there and drives slow with higher space consumption or something. That being said, it's still SUPA FAST! All in all though, I am SUPER satisfied with my purchase. I've even thinking of jumping to the 4TB drive when my new Frame.Work computer arrives. 5 |

I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |
