I bought my first Samsung Pro SSD around eight years ago, I think it was a 256GB. Then another for my other laptop. Then a 1TB and now a 2TB. Obviously very happy with all, I just keep needing more storage space and fortunately, Samsung keeps making larger SSDs. 5 |

I cloned this Samsung 256GB SSD 850 PRO drive from my Samsung 250GB SSD 850 EVO drive using my backup software. The system started with no problems. If this 256GB SSD 850 PRO is as fast and reliable as the 250GB SSD 850 EVO it is replacing, I will be extremely satisfied. Also, the PRO has a 10 year limited warranty. The 250GB SSD 850 EVO will replace the hard drive in my wife's laptop. 5 |

I have 3 other Samsung SSDs, an 830 256GB, an 840 250GB and an 840 Pro 256GB. The Samsung SSD keep getting better and better and faster and faster. I have had no problems with any of them. The 850 Pro came with the latest version of Samsung Magician (4.5). I do not use the Samsung Data Migration software, I use the Seagate free version of Acronis that works as long as you have any Seagate HD attached to the system. Even a novice can install a Samsung SSD with the Magician software. I have always found the Samsung SSD tech support people to be very helpful. 5 |
