Samsung 40 As Monitor Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Samsung monitor its crystal clear and the best graphics for every thing I watch or play on it its nice to know that I can get a good quality TV/monitor for a good deal and it last for a long time didnt get a chance to do shipping but I'm sure if its to do with Samsung its ligit and easy going and way underpriced not like most of the TV I've bought its the best one for playing games listening to music playing movies u name it thanks Samsung... make ur life better and funner with a new Samsung TV ultra clear crystal as the lake thanks Samsung ... Samsung places this monitor in their Essentials lineup - a moniker usually reserved by vendors for very basic devices. And, indeed, many things about this monitor are basic. But nothing is actually bad or even poor. The picture is good. The brightness is good. It properly handles 50Hz (PAL framerate) video from my retro gaming scaler, so that's a very nice feature. As is typical with inexpensive monitors, the stand is bare-bones and places the monitor quite low to the desk, but the VESA mounting option lets me add a $20 monitor arm to solve that issue. The single HDMI input is a tad limiting, but at $4 per port for the HDMI licensing fee, I can understand why they did that. It's also not excessively light-weight that it threatens to topple over on my desk. The external power supply is a bit of an odd design, being an in-line brick with with the AC input at an angle. Just something to keep in mind for cable routing concerns. In all, a great monitor for the price. Highly recommended.

The sound from the Sonos beam is very good. It sinks seamlessly with the Samsung monitor. This is the way the television should have sounded, and now thanks to the Sonos Beam. My audio is perfect!

My current main monitor is an MSI gaming screen, and the Samsung blows it out of the water! Even more reason to be a Samsung customer. Everything they make is spectacular!!

I need a smaller TV for my gaming and it’s better than the monitor I have which is not a Samsung, Samsung is always the best when it comes to TVs or monitors this one is pretty good. It is an older model, but it’s still pretty good.

I am very happy about this monitor, It is very lightweight and super bright, good quality external screen. I am using it to attach my new Samsung S21 mobile. I am using Samsung Dex on this screen. Very easy to install and plug and play screen. Resolution is good to see HD movies or play HD game. Screen can be used both landscape and portrait mode. This is excellent monitor at this price.

The Samsung S70D monitor is an excellent monitor for work and general usage (including some basic gaming). The monitor has good viewing angles (not ideal for professional image/color accuracy I imagine), good color accuracy out of the box, and sharp text. Having used it for a few weeks for reviewing spreadsheets, coding, and developing dashboards/charts, this monitor feels pretty ideal. I prefer VA panels given the extra contrast. Video quality is good, and playing World of Warcraft on the monitor has been an enjoyable experience with little/no noticeable ghosting. Panel uniformity also seems good. I’ve had no issues or annoyances with this monitor. Highly recommended!

I got this for a very good price and it also included a 24 Samsung monitor with it. The monitor is fine for what I need it for. I didn't get it for any gaming. The display is nice and bright. Very satisfied.
