[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded my remote work setup with the Samsung 49-Inch Monitor about 2 years ago, and it has been a game-changer for my daily development tasks. Here's a brief review based on my experience: **Display and Resolution:** The expansive 49-inch screen offers an immersive visual experience. The ultra-wide aspect ratio and crisp resolution make multitasking a breeze. Having multiple code files, terminals, and documentation open side by side has significantly boosted my productivity. **Workspace Organization:** With the screen real estate this monitor provides, I can keep all essential tools and applications in view simultaneously. No more constant switching between windows — it's like having multiple monitors without the clutter. **Connectivity:** The monitor comes with an array of ports, catering to various connectivity needs. I can easily connect my laptop, secondary devices, and even gaming consoles for some after-work entertainment. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Samsung 49-Inch Monitor has significantly improved my remote development setup. Its size, resolution, and ergonomic design have positively impacted my productivity and overall work satisfaction. If you're a developer working remotely or someone who values a spacious and immersive workspace, I highly recommend considering this monitor for your setup. 5 |

The Ergotron HX is holding my Samsung 49-inch G9 and it is simply outstanding. It clears up considerable desk space and allows me to position the monitor exactly as I want. It was easy to put together and attach to my desk and the monitor. Ergotron really did their homework when they designed this arm. It is well worth the price. 5 |

I needed an arm that could handle the Samsung 49-inch gaming monitor, and this came highly recommended. Easy to install, solid and easy to adjust. Hold my monitor at its odd angle and doesn't droop. Couldn't ask for more. 5 |

I waited years for HDMI 2.1 to roll out so when I upgraded from my 1080p projector to a 4K TV, I could get 120Hz and HDR for gaming. This TV finally fits the bill, and I'm loving it. Image quality is great, color accuracy seems to be roughly on par with my calibrated IPS monitors in Gamer mode, and input lag is pretty solid - feels closer to my 1ms 240Hz monitor than my 5ms 75Hz monitor, even in 60Hz mode. I was able to get 4K 120Hz working on my HDMI 2.0b 1080 Ti graphics card, and 4:2:0 chroma subsampling looks fine while I wait for proper HDMI 2.0 devices and receivers to roll out. Games look great in 4K and with dynamic resolutions outputting at 4K, but 1440p looks muddier than 1080p on this display since the pixels don't match up; for the average gamer, I'd recommend running games at 1080p or 1440p with 4K image output via Radeon or Nvidia Image Sharpening. Don't bother outputting 1440p to this thing. Switch, PS4, PS3 and XB1 games look great on this TV, and the videos I've watched also look solid. Be sure to set both regular and HDR modes to Gamer, they default to something like Vivid and it looks smeary. One and only complaint I have is that the backlight is a little obvious when you're displaying a black image with a white cursor overlaid on top. Might be able to reduce the effect by fiddling with the backlight settings, though, and black levels and brightness are both great, so it's a worthy trade-off. You also don't have to worry about burn-in like with OLED TVs since this is using an IPS panel. This should last me this upcoming console generation and hopefully further, without me feeling like I'm missing out. Overall, this is a highly recommended TV, especially if you're getting a new one for the PS5 or Xbox Series X. 5 |

I did upgrade from Acer Predator X34P. From 120Hz to 144Hz and from ho HDR to HDR 600. It not looks like for huge upgrade, but in my opinion it's worth it (HDR). Possibility to overclock worthless, because to do so you need limit colors for 8bit, and while you do so you cant run at HDR mode. This limitation came from low bandwidth possibility of DisplayPort 1.4a. 5 |

I specifically got this to take full advantage of my Xbox Series X. The 120hz refresh rate combined with 4K resolution is absolutely stunning. I know the PC players don't really care about HDMI 2.1 but for those of us who have next gen consoles, this is fantastic. Colors are amazing, HDR pops even though it's only HDR 600. Tons of customizations for you to dial it all in. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I waited for what seems like forever, and was lucky enough to catch the first wave! 5 |
