Samsung 4K Picture Frame Tv

Beautiful picture if you have a 4k source. I saw this Samsung DU7200 4K 43" TV in the store, and I was blown away by the picture and sound. After I got home and hooked the TV to a 1080p source I was extremely disappointed in the picture quality. I knew I didn't have a 4K cable box, 1080p only, but I thought this TV had upscaling. Which it does to an extent, but it is nothing compared to the native 4K which stores use to make their TV's have such a beautiful display. But that isn't the TV's fault, that is mine for not doing enough research. I'm ordering a 4k Utra HD hdmi cable. And a 4k TV source so I can get the best picture possible. Just know this if you plan on buying this TV, otherwise no complaints it is a great TV.

This TV replaces a six year old 4K Ultra HD television. I purchased the Samsung QN65QN90D inorder to watch football and the baseball playoffs. The motion and color capabilities make watching sports a real treat. I cannot believe the detail I was missing with my old TV. I have a Reciever and 5.1 speaker system connected but most of the time I use the TV speakers...they are that good. TV has a broad selection of picture and sound settings. The picture quality is unbelievable. Some of the most beautiful actors and actresses are not as beautiful now and actually look human. I did not like the Samsung TV remote initially but now I love the size and full functionality. The TV has a Filmmaker mode which now makes my TV room into a theater. Would highly recommend this TV. I bought this tv in December with the B&H Payboo credit card, so I paid no sales tax. During that week B&H had a 10% off Sony special so I paid just under $4500 total with free shipping. Wow! The price was too hard to refuse. You have to love the specials only B&H periodically has. I had the tv in my living room in 5 days. I don't own an LG G3 or Samsung S95C to compare to, but I can attest that the picture on the A95L is amazing. I don't have cable so I just stream. I use the google Chromecast which is included in the tv. I run an HDMI eARC cable from the tv to my Samsung soundbar. What I love is the one Sony remote controls the soundbar through the eARC cable. I push power and it turns on the tv and soundbar and controls the sound. Everything is so simple. No more cable boxes for me with the separate remote. If I want cable again I'll stream Hulu or YouTube tv. Back to the picture - it's awesome what this tv does with 4k programs. Put on the Crown, or other movies or programs filmed in 4k and you feel like you are in the room it's so realistic. My suggestion is to watch in vivid picture mode, as there is a huge increase in brightness, and I believe definition. It's hard to watch anything in 1080p because there is no comparison. I did test the tv's sound, and my Samsung soundbar with sub is much better. That said, in my opinion the tv is better than advertised. I can't even describe how amazing it is to watch 4k content. It's unbelievably good. I love it!

Set up was a breeze. I wasn't used to the One Connect box that Samsung now has for its tvs. It's a box that only has one connection from the back of the TV. The box is where the additional connections go instead of the ports that used to be on the back. It comes with a wall mount to make the TV flush with the wall. The remote is amazing. It's small, white and called a Solar Remote...no batteries needed because you charge it with a USB-C and it has a power cell on the back where light also charges it. I love this TV because the picture is so clear with vibrant colors. The different modes also allow you to change your viewing preference. I like the Eye Comfort mode along with Intelligent mode which sets the picture to adjust to your room and surroundings. Lastly, the Art mode is priceless. I can display my photos as works of art. The TV has artwork from famous artists from every genre. It's easy to find art to match your room and personality. The frame of the TV has a thin bezel which can be customized with different frame designs. I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this TV and would definitely recommend if your looking to level up your TV game!

The TV picture quality is excellent, providing vivid colors and sharp details for an immersive viewing experience. It was very easy to set up and get all my streaming apps going. But, best of all, the Art mode is amazing. The slim TV mount that comes with the set along with the unique power cord and set top allows you to hang the TV up against the wall like a picture frame. Then being able to select from a giant art collection (subscription worth the $$) allows me to personalize the TV to suit my style and mood. It has really created a statement piece in our room. The smart features are easy to use and enhance the overall convenience of the TV. In short, the 43" Samsung Frame TV has exceeded my expectations and has become a standout feature in our house.
