Samsung 500T Charger

500T looks great as always. My favorite stock for 16mm film.

Normally I use the 500T film because it allows for more light but I was surprised with the range of the 250D film. It did really well in a low light setting and I didn't need to push the film. The results were gorgeous and sharp and it gave beautiful colors. Will definitely order again.

I am obsessed with 500T for shooting Super 8 film. It is one of my favorite film stocks. I REALLY appreciate that b&h is a reliable place to buy Super 8 film from. It's been hard to find lately but not with b&h :)

Not sure how you can top this film, sweet grain, immense latitude. Have 20 rolls of this frozen, along with some 500T.

My Experience with Kodaks' Vision3 500T stock is limited to only using it for super 16mm applications, but even then, it is an outstanding stock to use, and perhaps the only one I'm ever going to use. This stock handles over- and under-exposure like a champ, and the grain, while very prominent in super 16mm, is never too overbearing. Colors are rich and weighty, able to to be color-graded super quickly to get any look you want, and dynamic range is incredible. Definitely going to be using this stock again soon, whether in super 16mm or 35mm.

This is my go-to 16mm film. The high speed of the 500T allows for more flexibility with the exposure and is great for multiple lighting scenarios. Whether you are shooting in the studio or out in the sun, the results give the most gorgeous color and details. Although higher in grain then Kodak 250D, it is extremely sharp while still maintaining the film look. Will definitely continue to use!

I had written a review of this film based on an experience I had with it about 5 years ago, using both negative and reversal films on the same project. I recently shot another project with both the 500t and Kodak ektachrome and was extremely pleased to find that the 500t actually looked better than the ektachrome! It handled low-light beautifully, the grain was nice, and the contrast was far better than that of the Ektachrome. The Ektachrome was too contrasty, making some images almost useless. The 500t footage was just beautiful and still retained the distinct character of Super 8 film, without the excessive worry you'd have with a low ASA film or with reversal. I highly recommend!!!!
