Samsung 5.1 Soundbar With Sub

This is my first time buying a 5.1 surround soundbar, and I must say I'm pretty impressed with the sound.

Used as soundbar for our Samsung TV.

Use this product with the big Sub and a pair of Era 100's. Once set up it works and sounds very good. Previously I had a 5.1 passive speaker system with receiver. I needed something more attractive and compact for our new room. The sound is excellent on movies, normal TV programmes and Spatial Audio music. The sound stage is a bit narrower than the 5.1 set up on regular stereo tracks. Tonal quality is good.

This system sounds great and delivers on the ability to rumble without distortion. I've used both the Polk 2.1 and Vizio 5.1 soundbar setups w/ sub and it doesn't come close. Purchased to act as primary home theater sound systems (despite being intended for a PC) Minimum Requirements were: 1. 5.1 Surround or better 2. Powered Sub (that will rumble like a movie theater) 3. Wall Mountable Speakers 4. Mid-Range Sound Quality (not an audiophile) 5. Cannot fit standard component receiver/amp 6. Sub $500 all-in 7. HDMI-ARC and/or S/PDIF Cons (not surprises): - Z906 does not support HDMI ARC, volume control from a TV through S/PDIF Optical or Coax doesn't work, but I expected that. - The sub houses the amp and all wires converge at the powered subwoofer - The control box must be within 5 or 6 feet (2.5-3M) of the subwoofer limiting its placement. - No bluetooth, but options available to add capability for less than $20 (or get a Chromecast) - 5.1 Volume control limited to Master, Subwoofer, Rear (both), Center. Cannot independently adjust front or rear balance. What I purchased in addition to this system: - Universal remote (Using w/ TCL Roku TV, don't want 2 remotes) - 100' 18/2 Speaker wire for rear speakers (included wasn't enough for me) - Rocketfish Tilting Speaker Mounts (5 Piece)

I replaced my old 5.1 surround system with a Sonos Arc & Sub combo, wow what a difference! The old 5.1 surround system had amplifiers, connecting cables, speaker wires everywhere; and this over complicated obsolete system didn't even sound that good. The Sonos Combo sounds amazing, was very simple to install, looks great and is surprisingly simple. Bottom line: I'm a very happy customer, it was totally worth the upgrade.

I was able to mount Samsung soundbar easily. It meets my need.

As an engineer I has hoping for a lot, but the 5.1 channel sound of this complete Arc soundbar based home theater system is far beyond my expectations. Since we have Android phones I did have to enlist my son-in-law with his iPhone to do a more thorough system calibration needed to provide the full scope of sound on modern movies and TV, but once fully calibrated to the room in which it's located the sound is just superb.

This soundbar exceeded my expectations big time, considering the cost. It was simple to hook up, and now that I can enjoy 5.1 surround sound in my living room, it feels like my life just made a major upgrade.

Got this soundbar as a gift from my sister. Quality is amazing! This versatile 5.1 setup comes with a subwoofer and 2 dedicated surround speakers that help create a more immersive listening experience. You can also stream audio wirelessly from your phone to the bar.
