[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't figure out why I was opposed to ordering my new computer with a Solid State Drive instead of a HDD. Perhaps I was leery of the technology. I since replaced the HDD with the Samsung 860 Pro Solid State Drive. Before it to several minutes for the system to boot, now it is almost instantaneous. The overall performance of my system has increased 100 fold. Kudos to Samsung for their continuously innovative products. They made me a believer. 5 |

I installed the Samsung 250GB Solid State Drive in my Lenovo desk-top computer. I moved Windows and all my application software to the solid state drive and all of my personal files to the internal disc drive. The disc drive is backed by an external disc drive. The resulting system is much faster. The installation went very smooth, although I had the entire system backed up on an external disk drive incase anything went wrong. 5 |

I got the Samsung SSD 850 PRO 512GB. It's total quality at an affordable price. The "Migration" software was a breeze, just click and it cloned my old hard drive seamlessly. After cloning was done, just flip over the laptop pop open the cover for the HDD, remove some screw's and slip in your awesome Samsung SSD, pop the screw's in, replace the cover and your ready to compute at an incredible rate. Prepare to be shocked at the speed of this drive! You'll feel like a real Pro with the Samsung PRO SSD. 5 |

I replaced my 1 terabyte hard drive with this samsung 850 pro 512 gb and its practically instant on and everything opens fast ,i have a dell laptop i5447 i5 windows 8.1 . The software that came with the SSD did not work properly on my machine so i bought the apricorn 3.0 upgrade kit For $ $That cloned the hard drive flawlessly .:) Great SSD drive .BH was a pleasant buying experience (fast). 5 |
