Samsung A12 Password Manager

Although it took several attempts to sync with my Samsung A12 shutter (initially it wanted to control the zoom function) it works great, allowing a steadier hold and remote shutter trip. Light weight and inexpensive. 5 |

My Samsung often requires reboot... My L3860CDW printer is always there. Only trouble is asking for a password for a firmware upgrade, claiming it is in the back and trust me, it is NOT ANYWHERE... 5 |

I'm very happy with the A12 for its brightness and ability to use with a teleprompter. Nice that it's battery or a/c powered. 5 |

I've had my eye on Lilliput for quite a few years now. Ever since I bought an A12 monitor from them directly at Cinegear Expo in 2018. I was very impressed with the A12 and I knew that I would eventually get a bigger monitor from them someday. I wanted something 4k that I could bring on set but also use for color grading at home, AND it needed to not break the bank. Tall order, I know. Once they started releasing the Q series I started to pay even more attention to Lilliput. I saw them in person many times at the trade shows but it wasn't until recently that I decided to roll the dice on this new Q24. Man is it impressive. The blacks are way deeper than I expected, almost like an OLED. And the color, well after some hardware and software calibrations I got the accuracy average to 0.6 dE. That's amazing for any monitor, but especially one from this very affordable Chinese company. It's so nice I kind of don't want to bring it on set now (even though it's built like a tank.) I don't want anything to happen to this beautiful monitor that I can absolutely grade high end work with. (Rec709 at least.) I'm truly impressed with the Q24. Last but not least, the 4K picture is sharp! Even with Sharpness set to 0, which is where I suggest you leave it. 5 |

I have one and find it to be a steady, great sounding turntable. I play mine through a Rotel A12 amp to a pair of Klipsch RP-600M speakers. I like most music genres but listen to classic rock mostly. I did install an older AT90E cartridge with a nude eliptical stylus. I had purchased a new Debut Carbon EVO but the Denon/AT90E combination sounded better to my ears. 5 |

It's not clear from the specs or the documentation, but in addition to its many other capabilities, this monitor does a wonderful job with the horizontal flip you need for use with a teleprompter. In my case, I'm using it with a small desktop teleprompter that typically uses an iPad to show a PC screen instead. The A12 is a vastly better - finer and more capable - monitor than most monitors meant for teleprompter use displaying text. (They may have other advantages for text.) I'm showing various kinds of screens through it, not just scripts. You also need to turn off the underscan if the edges of the screen matter to your projects. I'm writing this review using the A12 reflected through a teleprompter right now, and happy with the result. I'll revisit this in a few months, after I've had time to see how it does over time and in multiple contexts, but the out-of-box experience, plus a few days, has been great. 5 |

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it. 5 |
