Fast (and slow) Charging!

Very fast charging of my Samsung 5 phone.

charging is very slow but if you just want an overnight charge this will get the job done while you sleep

It gives you 3 charging options...basically, fast, somewhat fast, and slow (which helps prolong the battery's life).

My two biggest gripes after 3 weeks of usage: Charging LED indicator is well visible only if I put camera upside down Wifi transfer is painfully slow for RAW files, like 300kbps slow, 40 photos in an hour. Besides these minor points I love the camera, I've upgraded from Panasonic GF1 and Canon 7Dmk1, the jump in light sensitivity and usability is great. A7mk2 with kit lense gives much better results in low light than 7D with 50mm/1.4. Realtime (over)exposure feedback in EVF is godsent under sunny winter conditions.

I have a dual battery Nitecore charger and was disappointed in slow charge speeds. I read the same from reviewers about this charger also. Digging a bit deeper, I found Fujifilm recommends a 45 watt charging block - what a difference! Charger now works as I had hoped it would. The key is the charging block!

It's odd that the battery cannot be charged in my DSLR (unlike my Sony Camcorder), so charging one battery at a time is a bit slow. These Sony charges though are efficient at charging, and I have two now so that I can charge more than one at a time. (Works great with one battery already in the camera, with two more ready to go).

This unit does charge slow but I can charge my phone about 7 times before the GearPower needs charging again. It's relatively small and lightweight so it is easy to pack and take anywhere. A must for anyone constantly on the move without.

Before then, I made a recent error of using third USB-C plugs on my M1, always too slow, never charge, and eventually the laptop would not accept power charging anymore. After purchasing this item (with the Apple USB-C branded cable) charging was super fast and much more convenient for my laptop. You even don't need to wait a few minutes when plugging the laptop dead. The laptop will boot right back up. Highly recommended.

Slow but fully charges batteries. Not much to figure out. Plug it in, insert batteries, go to bed and finished charging in the morning. The charge indicators are a nice touch.
