Blackmagic 4K battery life solved! I ran this battery from 100% to 0% via D-tap to DC power on my BMPCC and the total run time was 7hrs and 15 minutes till the camera shut off! I did not actively record. Battery mounts comfortably to the Ronin and when I need to switch to tripod I just clamp it to that using the same thread on the back. 5 |

I'm using this cable for a variety of things: 1- powering a 100 watt wand light while in use at 100%. 2- Charging a 100 watt wand light from power off state. 3- Transferring files directly from mirrorless cameras when a card is not available. 4- CF Express USB-C card readers 5- Hard drive enclosures. This A53 is a sleeper product not aggressively marketed by Shure, like many of their offerings. But Shure is an American company, much copied and seldom equaled with unprecedented longevity. These mounts will fit just about any small diameter mic by Shure and many other manufacturers. I use them for my Shures, AKGs, Schoeps and Oktavas and the, larger, A55 for my Royer�ribbons. It's a simple compact design that punches well above its weight class at a very reasonable price 5 |
