I just purchased a 2018 Macbook Pro and wanted an external hard drive for its Time Machine software. Came formatted for the Mac and worked without any drama or issues. The drive is boxes with a rather short USB type-C cable and a USB type-A dongle. C-cable fits tightly for a good connection. Ive used the dongle for some older Window devices without issue. The sound bar is excellent and the so is the control software. I have a Samsung NU8000 TV (2018) and I found out the hard way that it doesn't support DTS. Any DTS input signal is downgraded to PCM stereo when using ARC on the TV :( It appears Samsung dropped DTS support in 2018 so be careful! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Samsung NVMe since 2018 on 4 Mac OS machines with Raid and never a problem with losing photography, data, video or nada. I do make goofy errors but not with solid 970 & 980 EVOs keeping me out of priceless losses. 5 |

The NP-FW50 is used in both my Sony NEX & my A7S-ll. The charger for my NEX is used with the battery IN the camera. I charged the battery as usual & there was no charge in the battery, & because the camera is fairly old I thought that the battery was dead, so I ordered a new one. Latter, I put the old battery in my A7 charger & found that it WAS fully charged! Problem was obvious. The NEX charger was dead, NOT the battery. Because the A7 uses "juice" like it's going out of style, I kept the new battery, as one can't have too many batteries when you own an A7 series camera. 5 |
