Samsung Brightview Baby Monitor Ac Adapter

I use this to be able to mount a small monitor on a light stand for an AC or director, or to mount a Luxli Cello light on a baby pin stand or arm. Certainly does the job, and is more robustly made than a few other ones I've used.

I'd like to add that I had no issue attaching the impact vesa mount to baby pin adapter to get the monitor on to light stand.

This is a great AC power adapter for my SmallHD 703 Ultrabright monitor. You'll definitely want to mount it to your stand to not put fatigue on the lemo connection, but otherwise it's great.

This is the first on-camera monitor I have owned, but I did research this product space extensively, and I have use monitors belonging to other people. I am extremely happy with this monitor. I specifically wanted something with full cross conversion between HDMI and SDI, and this has it. It has 20+ tools like focus assist, exposure assist, histogram, and waveform, and they are all fully configurable. I have been able to load a custom LUT. The color accuracy seems good, as does the brightness. The unit is a little heavier than other monitors, especially with two batteries on the back; the housing is evidently a machined aluminum heat sink. I haven't had a chance to use it with SDI yet. Note that the stand-alone unit comes with no power source, neither a battery nor an AC adapter; they are sold separately. For some reason, B&H recommends an AC to dummy L-Series adapter to power it from AC. However, the monitor has a DC input port, and SmallHD makes a power supply for it, B&H #SMPWRADPUS12, which I have tested and it works. My at-home battery life test gave me just over 11 hours of running time from two 4400 mAh batteries. The unit gracefully switches between power sources with no problem.

For 8 years my AC's have picked up director monitors. Not anymore. WE ROLLIN' BABY.
