Samsung Chromebook Plus Platinum Silver Laptop Computer

This is one beautiful, fast laptop computer. Super thin, light-weight, I went with the silver since my old MacBook Pro was silver.

I'm using this 8x10 film for palladium and platinum prints as well as contact prints on silver papers. Its tonal range in D-76 is similar to that of the old Verichrome Pan, which was my favorite, so it makes beautiful contacts on silver paper. For Pt/Pd, I develop it in Gordon Hutchings' PMK pyro, and it takes the pyro stain beautifully; I can usually get enough contrast for Pt/Pd with +2 development. Even with this development, its fog level is almost zero.

I use Museo Silver Rag and decided to try the Pro Platinum paper. I run both through my Canon Pixma IP5200 which is not recommended, but it works. This Canon paper has more gloss and is whiter than the Museo. They are both 300 gsm (80 lb). I like heavy paper. I love this paper, but I do like the idea of the Museo's 100% cotton, so I will use both.

Bought this originally as a phone sd card for an S21 and it's camera but I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 1... The Red Raider... And it worked wonders for it... I use that 4k Chromebook as a home Media Center... And the transfer speeds...as well as the Reliability... Hands down.. Samsung products are my Goto... And this Item is just proof of why.

I have bought a new laptop workstation with a 500GB HHD , To me this is the economical way because SSDs can be purchased at one third the cost of the upgraded from the computer manufacture. I trust the Samsung SSDs for this upgrade as I have used different models of Samsung SSDs in the past . I have never had an issue with their drive so I have purchased a 250gb mStata and a 250 gb Stata to upgrade my new computer. I also purchase an 850 Pro to upgrade my six year old Dell M4800. I do recommend Samsung SSDs as well as their RAM memory.

I have been using Photo Paper Plus Glossy II (PP-301) for prints around my house and photo club competitions. Under incandescent lights the prints viewed pretty similar. However, viewed under daylight conditions or daylight lamps, I find the Pro Platinum has a much whiter base and hence richer B/W contrasts and more color punch. When a sale brings the pricing close together, I will certainly order the Pro Platinum.

Canon's Plus Glossy II prints look give you 98% of the look of the more expensive Pro Platinum Papers at a reduced cost. The paper is not quit as thick as the Pro Platinum but is very close to a direct alternative overall.

I use Canon Glossy Plus II and the Platinum to print photos with my MP990 and the Platinum prints much brighter then the Glossy II and from what I hear is archival for 200 years.

This plate works great with the PLATINUM PLUS Ultra 7000 by Sunpak. Go if you have to replace lost plate or if you just need an extra.
