Samsung Chronos 7 Jbl Laptop Driver

..first 24 hours..used only 7%..couldn't ask for anything better...

I have always been a huge fan of JBL’s speaker lineup, from the Flips to the Xtremes. I previously owned the Charge 4 and have to say the bump in sound quality and clarity with this unit is amazing! I fully attribute this to the added tweeter, which eases the burden of the main driver from producing all frequencies. This also allows the main driver to better produce the lower end and better round out the speaker. I am extremely happy with the Charge 5 and will be using it daily as I have with my other JBL’s!

Worked great with my Windows 10 laptop. I did not need to use the Driver DVD.

7 frames/second with 18b battery. Lightweight. No cons so far.

Pros: Very fast startup, Very easy to install using Samsung's Data Migration Software. I installed the 850 PRO by migrating my boot HDD to the 850 PRO and replacing the HDD (my C: drive) with the much faster 850 PRO. Everything went very smoothly in my Windows 10 AMD desktop. Cons: Samsung could do a better job on instructing the user on how to prepare the system prior to the start of data migration. For example there should be a set of instructions informing the user to make sure the AHCI driver is loaded on the Windows 10 system prior to the start of data migration. If you don't use AHCI you will not get the maximum performance from your ssd. If you install the AHCI driver after migrating the data to the ssd and then replacing the hdd with the ssd, you may lose the ability to boot the computer from the ssd. Windows 10 does not install the AHCI driver in a fresh install of Windows 10. Samsung should have step by step instructions on what to do to make sure we get best performance for which the ssd was designed.

This SSD supports the new PCIE 4.0 standard. My laptop supports only the previous PCIE 3.0 standard. So, I was thinking the speed would still be the same as before given the situation. I was mistaken. This new SSD boots up faster than my previous 970 EVO Plus, so it is in fact an upgrade and future proof. However, the problem is not with the drive, the problem is with the Samsung driver. Samsung is at this writing only, making a driver available for their SSD's UP TO AND INCLUDING the 970 series only. There is no Samsung Elpis controller driver for this model. So, Windows 10 uses the built-in standard Microsoft NVME driver for Windows 10 that was written in 2006. Almost 15 years ago. So, I imagine that as soon as Samsung releases a new driver for this device, it will be even faster. Love it.

I use the ADAM A8X speakers with my Korg Chronos X keyboard and am amazed at its performance so I knew the A7X would be perfect for a center channel speaker in my surround sound system. This is perfect for vocal clarity and I am not disappointed. Yup I give it a full thumbs-up!

Present for granddaughter seven years old. It is a hit. She takes pix incessantly.7

I bought this for myself for Christmas, hoping to scan all the family photos. Because there is no scan driver for an iPad at this time, I was unable to use the scanner. I borrowed a laptop from a friend and was able to scan just fine. The photos scan very fast, does batch scanning, even clears up imperfections and red-eyes. I absolutely love it! The only thing they could do better is to have a downloadable app/driver for mobile devices so I don’t have to borrow my friends laptop to use it. I can run my TV as a remote with my phone and tablet, I should be able to work computer equipment as well.

When I first purchased my laptop, I was worried about what kind of external driver I needed to purchase along with it; for the simple fact that I did not want to carry extra weight. However, contrary to my expectations, this driver is rather small and slim, and can easily fit into a purse pocket. The usb cable used to connect it to the laptop is also a short length, which freed me from the terror of having to wind up a long cable, in order to place it in my bag. I was finally able to install all my programs, and save my favorite music. Not only that, but I was also able to burn cds too. The only complaint I have is, for a lot of my movies on dvd, it refused to play them, reading them only as files instead...but I do believe it could be that I need to install an extra application in order to veiw my movies. Other than that, its a great product and does its job.
