Samsung Color Laser Auto Duplexing Printer Durability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the HP LaserJet Pro4201dw for a few weeks now and it has proven to be an excellent printer. We use it at our home business to print business documents from contracts to flyers and the kids get their color pictures too. I can tell you this printer is impressive. Print quality and speed is top notch. This printer prints like a professional printer yet is small enough to tuck away into the corner of my office! Durability and manufacturer detail is realized right out of the box, and this printer was built for the long run. One of the features I love is the auto duplex printing option. Auto duplexing helps to save paper automatically by automatically printing on both sides. This is my first printer with auto duplexing, and it is a time and paper saver! Tax season is going to put this printer through its paces, and I know it's going to be an excellent saver all the way around! One thing I struggled with was setup. I am usually not a rule follower and went out on my own as I had set up previous printers in the past. It took me longer than it should have, and I confused myself! Setup was easy if I followed the steps provided and didn’t go out of order. That’s the biggest advice I have for pain-free setup. Follow the directions and it’s a breeze! Overall, this printer is a great color laser printer that has all the features you want in a professional printer, built to last and at a price to keep the budget in order!

My 12-year-old Xerox color laser died. I decided I needed a medium-duty color laser printer for my wife's business, and we home-schooled our daughter. I followed the instructions and updated the software/firmware before using the laser. The AirPrint works fantastic, and it's faster than my old color laser printer. However, I did have a ghosting or blurry text printing issue when printing color PDF documents. It took over an hour with Brother tech support to resolve the problem, but we fixed it by changing the printer settings to AUTO mode. If you have PDF printing issues with blurry or fuzzy text, ensure your laser printer settings are in AUTO mode.

We just purchased this new printer to replace our MFC-8890DW which we had for over 7 years....this was a real workhorse. This MFC-L8900CDW is "Great". Our first color laser. Normally we print all color docs on an InkJet...those days are now over. While some have commented that the dispslay panel is a tad laborious to navigate we found no problem with it. We use the Control Center 4 application to remotely setup any of the features and all works seamlessly with our network. It was basically take the printer our of the box, plug it in, and viola, the network found it immediately on all our devices...what a dream. We have only had this printer about a month so it's still in the trial period. The color docs we have printed so far are good. Not photo printer quality, but nonetheless, acceptable. The printers performance overall if five star....and the quality of the copies printed is far better than I've seen on other laser printers. This is truly a homerun for any office or home based business or just personal use.
